I had planned on visiting for some time and finally got around to it last night. The food, drinks, and atmosphere was perfect! I will be back!
Ok. The point here is that THE OWNERS ARE CUBAN. Therefore, the Cuban food is legit. Like OMG, delicious. The owners are beyond wonderful. The service is beyond wonderful. The food is.. just get the Cuban sandwich and a side of sweet plantains, and you will know what real Cubans eat!!!

If you like tapas, check this place out! Small sharable plates and larger meals available. Natural drink mixes and juices instead of store bought mixers. Great flavors and staff were exceptional!

i love it. Wonderful. Excelent place
The atmosphere is amazing, the food is delicious, and the drinks are extraordinary. However, the best part is the service. My husband and I went for our anniversary, and Christopher M made a point to make it special for us. That means so much.

I first want to say that I love the atmosphere here and the selection of food and drinks. I normally don't leave reviews even if I have an issue with establishment. Unfortunately, I needed to express my concern in this matter to inform others to be mindful when choosing the Seafood Paella for $95, which they do not disclose when placing your order. Which should have been the first red flag. I have had great quality seafood Paella that average price is $30 to $50, and it comes with more filling of seafood and a taste that is unmatched compared to what Rhumba is providing. I am a really big fan of Paella and understand the time it takes to prepare the meal, seeing that Im a chef myself, but the price point is way off. I travel many places from Cartagena Columbia to San Juan Puerto and more and have experienced some of the best Paella ever. Even in the States. For example, the Bulla Gastro Bar in Charlotte Seafood Paella ranges from $32 to $41. Hacienda in Atlanta seafood Paella, come with fish, shrimp, lobster, calamari, and more for only $32, and I promise you want be disappointed. Rhumba has the right to charge whatever they feel to maintain business or to present a particular standard of business. However, that does not mean that your price point is associated with quality food. This does not take away from the wonderful atmosphere that Rhumba provides, but I recommend not trying the seafood Paella, especially if you know what good fulfilling Seafood Paella is. $95 would be no issue if the taste and filling of seafood were associated with that.

We went in for dinner last night and were asked if we had reservations. I did take the time to look online before we came to see if reservations were needed/recommended but didn’t find any info as they don’t have a website and only have a Facebook page that hasn’t been update on 2 years. I probably should have called to see if reservations were necessary. Either way, we didn’t have one and they said they didn’t have any tables available (there were only 2 tables with people at them but no worries, I know they’re probably booked for later). We were offered the bar seating which we never mind and sometimes even prefer.
We ordered empanadas, sliders and a Latin bowl. The cocktails were great and we sat and enjoyed our time. They brought the empanada and sliders out and they were great. I assumed they just couldn’t carry it all and would bring the bowl out shortly. We waited a few mins and when the bartender asked how everything was and I mentioned we were still waiting on one dish. He said he would check on it, and then it became clear that it never got put in or made. It was out pretty quickly but my husband was nearly done with his sliders before I got my food. The food WAS delicious so that’s the best part.
Either way, just a few hiccups but overall would come back. A unique spot in Aiken for sure with good food. Also we were there almost 2 hours and only two other parties came in and sat at tables so unsure why we couldn’t have originally gotten one of the half a dozen tables that no one was at, again not a deal breaker but just an observation.

Met a friend tonight for my first visit and it was simply amazing. The bartender when we walked in was the manager, he was very informative, very personable, even noticed when I got a little warm and turned the air down for me. That is attention to detail! The manager traded off bar tending duties with a young man and we asked about food. He was very knowledgeable, he went into great detail on the items that we asked about, and suggested a few more items. He had a great personality. We had chicarones (pork belly) bites and picadillo tacos. Both were very good. Someone seated nearby ordered one of their burgers. It smelled amazing and was so big I’m really not sure how they were going to bite into it. This is a place that I will return to as there were many things that I want to try on the menu plus when you get great service, you want to go back! I highly recommend you stop by very soon.

We dined here a few weeks ago for the first time. First, the waiter and bartender were superb! Very attentive and the drinks were on par! The owners are also so welcoming! I highly recommend the beef empanadas and the lamb chops. The bacon bites were ok. If you like a crisp with a hint of lemon, you will love them but I personally would like more flavor. This place is perfect for a date night or ladies night out. We will definitely be back!
The best ! Salsa too !
This place is a hidden gem! It’s not that Aiken Downtown is THAT big but somehow I always forget about this place and every time I go my friends and I say it’s like being on vacation lol! The food is fantastic, the drinks are fabulous and the prices are reasonable, so please don’t change a thing!
The menu has so many great options that it was hard to choose. The lamb was great, the burger was huge, the fries are phenomenal. Service is friendly and informative. The atmosphere is incredible and the decor is spot on. Definitely cannot recommend enough.
