We stopped in around lunch time on a Friday. We waited for about 35 mins for two hot dogs and a burger. The hotdogs were standard boiled hotdogs, nothing special. The burger was just ok. Hard pieces in the meat. The only good thing was the customer service. The ladies were very nice and apologetic about the wait. Decent priced hole in the wall. I would only recommend stopping by if you have time to kill.
Great little roadside jewel! A walk through the frame shop with local art prints, and you find the café in the back. Famous chili that people drive for and delicious hot dogs are served up fresh all day. Had one the way I like it with mustard & onion and one of the others with more varied toppings. Friendly conversation with the workers and owner. Definitely stop in if you're in the Aiken area!

It was like eating at your friend’s house: homemade food prepared with love and felt very local. My family is not a fan of hot dogs, so we ordered brownies, turkey sandwich, pimento cheese sandwich, and a tuna sandwich. The prices could not be beat. We left a big tip because the value was so great!
The only downside is the restaurant part of the building in the back of a gift store/frame shop that is that is overflowing with stuff.
Outside the restaurant, you can watch small planes take off from the regional airport. Our dog loved the outdoor seating so she was able to hang out with us while we ate.
Kid-friendliness: The menu was super-basic, but delicious! My vegetarian daughter loved the pimento cheese sandwich.

We were driving home from a long weekend on the coast, and knew we'd be in Aiken right around lunchtime. Becky found this and Maps told us the way. It is right across from the Aiken Regional Airport and Verenes Industrial Park on Columbia Highway.
If it's your first time visiting, when you enter the shop you'll want to head to the far right corner; that's where the counter is. They've got a host of ways to spruce up a hot dog. I had two and my wife had one of their "Heinkel" dogs, their dog with cole slaw. Really tasty.

Atmosphere like a 1970s country roadside hot dog stand.Very unique and charming. Cozy area to dine. Hurricane dog was exactly what I was looking for. One dollar brownie was the best brownie I've ever had at a restaurant. It was still warm from the oven. They also had baked spaghetti, a dish I love and can not often find for sale.Cool retro signs and retro TV shows playing on the television.

This is a great place, with exceptional and friendly service. We didn’t get to stay long enough to try the deserts but they looked delicious!

A darn good place to stop in and eat some lunch, Definitely a place worth checking out. The seating is kind of limited so you may want to eat in your car.

A surprising little place.....very nice lady who runs it....great hotdogs and desserts....we are new regulars lol
Excellent little hole in the wall restaurant, the restaurant is located in the rear of a frame shop, so it is a little confusing on your first visit. The ladies are friendly and hard working. Hot dogs are the main menu item but they offer a daily special, for example, Tuesday is chicken pot pie day. The menu is limited, some items are not always available, but do indulge in a dessert. The brownies are delicious, as well as the lemon pound cake and coconut pie. You can get chips with your sandwich or hot dog and they offer tea and bottled sodas
It’s soooooo good every time
