Chefs special steaks were overcooked and under seasoned. Clams was very gritty, couldn't eat them. Service could be improved, had to ask for water and utensils. Wouldn't recommend.
My wife and I had a dinner reservation for our anniversary dinner celebration for Friday, which was made MONTHS in advance. Then received an email on Thursday the day before that our reservation was canceled and they were closing the restaurant. Do you think they MIGHT HAVE known that before the day prior to our celebration???? No consideration for their customers. None. Would NEVER go there now, even if they reopen.
The place has a lot of potential and great ambiance. Unfortunately that is it. We had dinner last night. Our server was absolutely disinterested in being there. The drinks were mediocre at best. Other than the truffle fries which were surprisingly good the food was sub par.
It was our first time there being we just moved to the area earlier this year. We absolutely loved everything about our night. Food, music, ambience, the staff. Everything was amazing!! It is our new favorite spot. We cannot wait to go back!! Already planning our next date night
Unacceptable delays waiting for appetizers, salads, main course, and dessert. Almost 3 hours for dinner, most of which was spent waiting. The food and wait staff service were quite good. The kitchen delays were unacceptable and noted by guests at adjacent tables as well. The kitchen had no to go boxes and staff had to improvise packaging for carry home leftovers.
Kat is a wonderful server the beet salad is amazing. I also had the pesto chicken sandwich. It was a girl's night to listen to Preston and Weston in the Main house. We shared a slice of delicious Chocolate cake that melted in my XO mouth - so good!!!

Food was fine, limited menu, service person very nice but knowledge of bar items limited. Did not know what Chivas Regal was and was not available anyway. Cocktail tasted watered down. Customers very close together and loud. Extra charge for bread before meal but not noted in the menu. Overall, ok, but there are other choices in town, do not expect to go back.
Anniversary dinner ! Fantastic service and wonderful fresh ingredients This place and people never disappoint Recommend making a reservation We asked for a quiet table and they accommodated us and our server was very attentive the surf and turf, desserts, cocktails and ambiance were perfection! Our favorite restaurant in Aiken

The waitress Chloe was lovely- the service and food prep prompt- a refreshing thing these days. I'd give the food a 4- the salmon was a little over cooked for me but in fairness I didn't specify medium rare. The tips and tails- a five-amazing. The marg flatbread a three- bland. Ambiance lovely. Small room. A whispering room- not a laugh out loud room. Street parking and walk up to house. Would go again!
Disinterested server. Did not know what to recommend for their own menu. Asked for ketchup and they just handed me a bottle instead of giving it in a condiment bowl as you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. Food besides the appetizers was inedible. We were a party of four and noine touched thier entree (chef's special steak or pork chop). Wait time for a course ranged from 45 mins to an hour to arrive. Still left the place hungry.Would not recommend.
Our server, Cat, did the best she could under the circumstances. When we ordered our drinks, she told us they are short staffed. It took a while to get our drinks. The water even tasted really funny.... The bar bites came out relatively quick, like an appetizer would. However, our lunch took at least an hour and a half to cook. So we spent 3 hours in there total, and we probably ate for only an hour of it. There was no apologizes from the chef or manager. Also, they advertised that fathers would get a Father's Day gift, however, no one in the restaurant knew about the advertisement. Very disappointed.
Underwhelming at best. Food needs to match atmosphere! Me and my partner came for a date night and atmosphere is BEAUTIFUL especially with the band. We ordered the Chef Special meat, it was good but there was a hair in it. Our sever Oliver got it taken off our bill but the manger did not come speak. Also, we went to the restroom and when got back, our server said “Oh” As if we left and weren’t coming back to pay. The food was good, but definitely needed better service with being such a nice restaurant in aiken.
Excellent venue for small or larger gatherings. Weddings, historic property in beautiful downtown Aiken! Fine dinning, cocktails, rose gardens, fountains Sheffield’s is their restaurant in the main house, live music Thursday through Sunday with excellent local musicians!
