I typically reserve this place for our business dinners with our of town guests. Today I visited for lunch by myself. After I was seated in the back of the restaurant and after not being helped or even spoken to for about 10 minutes, I decided to leave. A manager walked by during my wait with no acknowledgement, a waitress helped an adjacent table and others around me during this time. I will not be returning and will be sure to not include this restaurant in future reservations for our out of town guests.

It was my birthday and my son took me out for an early supper. I had eaten there a few times, so I expected good food. The service was good and the appetizer wad good. However, I ordered a steak, a very expensive one, 8 ounces and got a medium steak with a delicious salad, good mashed potatoes and broccoli cooked well. The sides were very good. However, the steak was gristly and I could not chew it and had to spit out what would not be chewed. The flavor was food but I could not eat it even when I took it home. I recommend the Reuben and fish, but not the steak.

We reserved the private room for a birthday party and our group had the best time! The private room was very nice and could easily handle a large group. The food was fantastic and the service was phenomenal! Our waiter, Rhett, was awesome! He made sure we had everything we needed throughout our time there and was super friendly and also a great photographer đ Donât let the strip mall fool you! You walk into a cozy and charming restaurant that is the perfect spot to celebrate a special event or just have a nice meal out. This was my first time at the Feed Sack, and I canât wait to go back!

The Feedsack has always been a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere, and itâs somewhere my family enjoys for special occasions. (I even worked at a different location for a period of time). Part of the experience has always been their large, signature cake slices that my teenage children look forward to as a special treat.
On our recent visit, the cake slices were about half the size of what theyâve historically served, yet still the same price, with no mention of this change when we asked about dessert. When I brought it to the managerâs attention, I was told the cakes are now âhigher quality,â which is why the price remains the same, and that the prior cakes came pre-sliced, so largely. When in fact, I used to work here and we would slice them largely ourselves. While I appreciate quality, transparency and consistency matter â especially for returning guests who know what the restaurant has been known for. Unfortunately, there wasnât much of a solution offered, and our server seemed frustrated and walked away while I was still speaking, which was disappointing.
Itâs still a lovely restaurant, but I hope they either communicate this change, adjust pricing, or return to the portions guests have come to expect.

This is my new favorite place in Aiken. Great selection of cocktails and bourbon. Had the Calamari with a couple of drinks. I really like the couches, they are a very cozy touch. From outside it doesn't look like much, but once inside it is amazing. Live piano and great ambiance, enthusiastic servers and delectable food offerings make this place a great spot for a romantic meal or a meeting with friends.
