The potato itself had great flavor, but I wasn’t a fan of the chicken. It tasted more like bagged or canned chicken, with inconsistent pieces (some breast, some thigh). The texture just didn’t match the fresh quality I was expecting.

We finally tried Cheryl’s potato boat out for the first time tonight & it DID NOT disappoint! I had the bbq chicken potato, wife had the broccoli cheese potato, & our daughter had her a bbq pork sandwich w/fries. It was delicious! I was ready to go take a nap afterwards lol. Mrs. Cheryl stopped by to check in on us, sweet woman!! The man behind the counter & young ladies serving were very attentive. Excellent food, great service, good people. Loved the vibe as well....

Stopped at this gem while riding with the hubs looking for a great place to eat and we found it in Cheryl’s. The staff were friendly and great at offering suggestions. We ordered two small potatoes, a brisket sandwich, and an order of wings all for $45. The food was hot and seasoned. The brisket was perfect and I wish I had ordered my own instead of just a bite of the hubs. We really enjoyed the potatoes as well. I wasn’t a fan of the dry rub lemon pepper wings though.
