Went for lunch with our neighbors today and the whole experience was mediocre at best. There was only one waitress to serve the entire lunch crowd, and she was doing her very best, but seemed very overwhelmed at the amount of table she was responsible for. The bread and salad was the best part of the meal. However, the salads had no cheese or croutons, and were basically just lettuce, tomato and olives with your choice of dressings. All of us had something different for lunch, I had shrimp scampi. My husband had chicken Alfredo and my neighbors had chicken marsala, and Angel hair pasta with marinara sauce. The consensus at our table was that our food was pretty bland and lacked seasoning and flavor. I’ve never had shrimp scampi that didn’t have vegetables and came in a soup of a sauce (it was very thick with a strong lemon flavor that lacked any other seasonings). My husband‘s chicken Alfredo left a lot to be desired. The chicken breast was probably the best tasting part of the dish, the “Alfredo sauce” tasted bland and was extremely thick. My neighbors, chicken marsala was kind of like a brick of pasta covered under some sort of gravy? My neighbor who ordered Angel hair pasta with marinara sauce, was disappointed as the noodles appeared to be spaghetti noodles, and the marinara sauce, like the other dishes, lacked flavor. We had read where they make their own pasta, but the pasta that was served to us seemed old and left over. All dishes had a very odd presentation and left a lot to be desired. We even asked for red pepper flakes to add some seasoning to our dishes to help them become more edible. Overall, I hate knocking a local business however, the food was just bad, so we went to Biscuitville after we left the restaurant because we were still hungry. I guess next time we want Italian, we’ll just go to Olive Garden instead because it is way better than this place.

First, let me start by saying, we have been to this restaurant several times and from the first, which was very good, until now I could recommend it. When we arrived, it was late afternoon, just before happy hour. We were seated in the bar section alone and an assumption was made that we would be ordering alcohol. We ordered soup that was cold and the lasagna was made with some kind of weird (pasta?) that wasn't very good at all. Seems they tried to make up for it with a TON of mozzerella that was equally not very good (quality) Prices were quite dear for this supper meal so we were pretty dissappointed. Not sure if we'll ever return again. Have since found 2 other italian and greek/mediterranean restaurants-while eating out has gotten more $, these restaurant have EXCELLENT food

Can not say enough positive things about this restaurant.
We moved here a few months ago; have tried all the “nice” restaurants in Anderson, Easley etc- always disappointed. We’ve even tried half the places in Greenville. Then we found Dolce Vita and now go every Thursday. The food is unimaginably fresh and the quality is superb. The ingredients in the chicken Caprese taste like everything was freshly picked. Even the pizza is amazing.
The artichoke dip is what I refer to as Italian biscuit and gravy because underneath this magnificent dip is huge pieces of melt in your mouth bread. The bruschetta (pictured) also has magnificent bread underneath that is topped with olive oil, garlic and possibly fairy dust.
The owner is absolutely phenomenal- knowledgeable, down to earth and just a great person. Could literally just chat with her for hours.
Love the bartender- she always has patience with me when I’m trying to decide which wine I want. She’s also fantastic at making specialty cocktails.
They have daily specials like half off wine bottles and usually offer a dinner special which entails some mouth watering entree.
By far, our favorite place.

Excellent Food and service every time I visit. I always get one of their amazing pastas, or a meatball sub to go. The service has always gone the extra mile. Best Italian Restaurant in Anderson.

Went for anniversary dinner. Shocked when we got the bread which was flat and burnt. Can they spare the 1/2 teaspoon of butter that was served with the bread? The spaghetti tasted like it was reheated and certainly not fresh. Very disappointed in this place. Have been there many times and this by far was the worst. A total waste of money. Could have had a cheaper and tastier meal at Chili's! Never going back.

The service was excellent, I think our server was named Bree and she served our large group very well. Some of the food was really good including the Arancini app, but my main dish, Chicken marsala was not good. It had a thick and sour brown sauce. I've enjoyed this dish at other places. The server took that back and I opted for a side of mushrooms so another meal didn't have to be prepared and i could eat with my friends. I think the mushrooms came from a can.
