Dolce Vita Italian Bistro and Pizzeria

Nice little restaurant. We were there for a group meeting and it was handled well. Large portions of food and everything was tasty. Lobster ravioli was drowned in sauce, which took away from the dish but everyone else's food was wonderful.

Love this place! Fantastic pizza! Great accommodating large groups. We had the whole family there for my parents anniversary a fee years back. Haven't had a meal I wouldn't reorder!

We had reservations for 6:30 and unfortunately waited much longer than expected to be seated. After ordering drinks, there was also a significant delay, and the bar drinks actually arrived after the meals were served.

Three of our entrees did not come out until the rest of the table had already finished eating, and one of those meals was served cold.

Our server was absolutely precious and very kind throughout the evening, but it felt like once our group was seated outside, we were forgotten. We were told our server and another staff member from the bar would both be assisting our table, but aside from our sweet server, we never saw anyone else.

The bartender was also very rude and extremely snappy during an interaction when simply asking for help with getting the checks, which only added to an already frustrating experience.

To add to the frustration, after everything else, we then waited over 30 minutes just to receive our checks. We arrived for a 6:30 reservation and did not leave until after 9:00 PM. By that point, many in our group were aggravated and ready to leave.

This was many in our group’s first experience at Dolce Vita, and sadly most left disappointed. I wanted to share our experience in hopes that the service and communication issues can improve moving forward.

I ate here with friends on a weeknight recently. I was prepared for mediocre Italian but I was very surprised. The food was delicious, the portions were huge and the service was quick and friendly. The servers were dressed all in black which was professional. I had the chicken parm. It was divine. Definitely casual Italian. Desert was a must have. Skip the coffee.

The chicken parmigana was spectacular. The spaghetti alone was a super star. The waitress was so sweet and great at telling the specials. I will be back.

We had a very nice lunch to celebrate my wife's birthday!! Waitress was amazing as was the food! I am a retired chef and it was absolutely wonderful to see a restaurant that does it right!!!!!!

I was told about a specific dish, the lobster ravioli which was just as good as advertised. The person at the front seemed slightly annoyed, but we are entitled to days like that. In the end it did not have an impact on my food. I placed my order for pick up, and it was ready before the scheduled time by about 5 minutes. The customers leaving seemed happy, and it had a very laid back dining feel.

What a lovely place to celebrate Valentine's Weekend! First time visiting and was a great choice. Food was delicious and incredibly generous portions. Would visit again for sure.

We ate there while visiting my niece here in Anderson. The server was great. The food was exceptional. The restaurant and restroom were very clean. Definitely coming back next time I visit. I had the eggplant Parmesan with a side of Italian sausage. It was so delicious!
