I've been to el arriero a few times over the years, and every time has been excellent. The people are friendly, the service is fast, the food is perfect. I give all 5 stars. If you're going to read the negative reviews, before they turn you off to this place, please, pay attention to a few things you find in the negative reviews: 1. spelling/grammar mistakes. Can you even understand the review? 2. tone/attitude. Do you hear that sense of entitlement/local culture? Because I think things are done a little differently in mexico, like they're probably not in a hurry to get their food. They probably want to relax and savor. 4. And finally, there's just no accounting for taste. People eat so much fast food, they've fried their tastebuds. If it's NOT brown, deep-fat fried, full of sodium, chemicals, and artificial ingredients, and containing an entire week's worth of sugar, the average diner thinks it's HORRIBLE ; ) Try this place

The food is actually very good and very reasonable price it. It actually compensate the long wait for the service and the food to come out. It was only one waiter trying to cover all the tables while the manager arrived late. Very good food but the staff definitely needs training.

I have ordered on Door Dash from this location a few times. Every time I am disappointed in the ability for them to read the comments. I even call to make sure, and they LITERALLY hung up on me. Lesson learned- I will NEVER order from here again. I will pay a higher fee to receive quality food and service.

Waiters are rude and unprofessional food was cold and nasty and they try to tell you how much your leaving for a tip even if it's two of you in party if you want nasty food and service eat here but even McDonald's has better service than this place

I ordered a plain hamburger- specified that plain meant just meat and bread- it came out with mayonnaise. They took it back to the kitchen - then brought the same hamburger patty back- where it had been placed back on the grill and burned so they thought I couldn’t tell and just added a new bun- I am very allergic to eggs and this could have caused me to go into anaphylactic shock if I hadn’t had caught it. Also I had touched the hamburger before sending it back and they placed it back on the grill where other people’s food was cooking, Which in my opinion is very unsafe. Then the men in the kitchen kept staring rudely at me the whole time I was sitting there. They brought me a new hamburger but I didn’t touch it because I didn’t trust them. Took forever to get our check and never got any drink refills… they weren’t busy. I suggest if you eat there, to look up there DHEC report.
