Our favorite place in town. We arrived early and sat upstairs. The service was great, as usual - thanks to Arielle. My blood orange horizon cocktail was made perfectly (on the less-sweet side). You can't go wrong with the cucumber wrap and the lucky charm roll. Those are staples. Just another sublime experience at Maki!

We love and frequent Maki! Jordan was our server. He was very attentive and friendly! The food is always amazing! It was very loud inside the night we went but I recognize that's no one's fault. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. :)

Pre-theater lunch was extraordinary. Service was incredibly responsive. Not too fast, nor too slow. The variety of menu found sweet spots for sushi lovers (me) and others of the party. Could not have asked for a better start for the afternoon. Thank-you.

As always, the food was very good. But the staff needs major work! Our server was polite, but continued to rush us out. Within 10 mins of receiving our food, he came by to ask if we were ready for the check. We nicely told him no and that we would let him know when we were ready. 5 mins later as both myself and my husband had our chopsticks in hand and still getting food off our plates, he came by and cleared our table! UNACCEPTABLE. I understand that the restaurant is always busy on a Friday night, but one, we had reservations, and two, as a customer who is paying over $100 for their meal, we should not be rushed! I don't fault the waiter, I place blame with management! Better training needs to be done with the staff. People make reservations for a reason. For those that don't make reservations, they need to understand that they will have to wait, however long, for a table. But your customers that make a reservation should not be rushed through their meal so that you can make room for others that are waiting. This is not the first time this has happened at this establishment, but clearing our table before we were through eating is the final straw for us. Maki management, DO BETTER!

I absolutely love MaKi! I have dined there many times and today I took my friend for her birthday and it never disappoints. The service and food are impeccable. Highly recommend!

Came in to celebrate with a friend and the service, food, and atmosphere was absolutely fantastic! Jay was our server and he was attentive, kind, and well educated on the menu both food and wine/liquor wise (I believe he may also be a bartender). Ordered the calamari, dynamite (dynamo) gyoza, friend vegetable tempura, fried shumai for apps absolutely fantastic especially the sauce that came with the calamari. Ginger salads (add the sauce from the dynamo gyoza). Spicy salmon roll, spicy tuna roll, Rambo roll, and the special kimono roll. For the adventurous eater get the sea urchin nigiri for a fresh exact taste of the ocean! Medium rare strip steak with teriyaki sauce, mushroom risotto, and brocollini was an absolute SHOW STOPPER a totally unforgettable plate. Finish with the ube cheesecake! Paired with two Buddha buttons, a glass of cab and one of their fantastic fruity cocktails 💕✨
