Overall negative for me. Great decor and service but found a fingernail and a chicken bone in my food. Would not return

This has been my favorite Mexican place in Anderson since I moved here in 2020. I still love their food and salsa, but now their prices have gone up so much on everything, they have priced me away from their place. Prices have gone up every where as we know, but some restaurants haven't gone up at all, like El Arriero in Anderson. They have had the same menu since 2020. They still do $1.99 margaritas on Mondays. My bill is less than half of Puerto Nuevo. My advice, be realistic, cut your prices way back down, or go out of business!!! $36 per lb for crab legs? Give me a break!!! I've seen them at Kroger recently for $5.99 per lb. Complete ripoff!!!

Great margs and the tacos were big and delicious. You can never go wrong with a salsa bar.

Business travelers beware. This establishment has changed their credit card system to spit out itemized receipts only. This is not good for business travelers. Just saying.

Out here visiting from Colorado, sorry this food is garbage. The food back home and around New Mexico is just better, same culture but lack of effort that’s put into the food here.

Traveling through the area tonight and decided to try this place out. Keep in mind I travel a lot and have tried tons of Mexican restaurants all over the world and this place was HANDS DOWN the absolute best Mexican restaurant I've been to. Me and my husband literally ate everything (which we never do) now we are so full we can barely breath. Lol but seriously we are highly highly satisfied!! Amazing Texan quesadilla and cheese dip was phenomenal better then anywhere else. Awesome salsa bar. Even the rice was wonderful and I usually ain't big on rice but it was soooo good. Beans were good too. This should 100 percent be a 5 ⭐ restaurant!!!!! Y'all even managed to outdo our favorite Mexican place in Florida!!! When in the area WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!
