Just love this place, and have been several times. Food is great, and a great value, employees are super friendly, and there is a FREE pool table if u just want to wind down w drinks. I really enjoy coming here, and have referred friends as well. Try the Pot Roast Melt, u'll never find another one, and it ROCKS! Love, love, love Raines (my go to in Anderson).

Ate here tonight. Was quite disappointed. Not many people in the restaurant at all. Waited an hr on our food. Was told 45 minutes in to it that they had a big to go order but we were sitting by the bar where to go orders were taken. No big orders. During this time I went to the restroom that is downstairs by the kitchen. Sounded like a rap concert going on in the kitchen. Have no problem with rap. But whether it’s rap or rock or anything else. You can’t communicate in a kitchen...

Updated review: Raines has redeemed itself for me over the last few years. Service can still be dreadfully slow at times but the food/quality of service/cost is just about unbeatable in downtown Anderson now.
