I’m not the one to ever do reviews… but don’t get the crab & shrimp Alfredo. We had high expectations for $24 but it was very bland and no seasoning at all. Then the cook didn’t even put the crab in at all. Once we asked and got the crab it still had bits and pieces of shell in it. Overall the oysters were good & our server was the best.

This is the first review i have ever written, that’s how disappointed i am. This was a first time visit for me and my friends and we were super excited because we had heard great things about their oysters… i myself don’t eat oysters but i will say they were very flavorful and my friends really enjoyed them! Our waiter was also so sweet and attentive! However, we all made the mistake of ordering the shrimp and crab alfredo which just happens to be one of their most expensive dishes so we had relatively high expectations. When the alfredo came out we were immediately shocked at the incredibly simple presentation… it was a basic white cheese sauce with noodles, what looked to be standard plain boiled shrimp and a hunk of bread on the side. None of us are picky eaters and I myself don’t care what the food looks like if it tastes good, we were just shocked being as it’s a $25 dish. We all ended up adding salt and pepper to it. Unfortunately we came to realize quickly that there was no crab to be found in the pasta. When we asked the waiter about it he returned to tell us that the cook had forgotten and that they had told him we had 3 options which were to either get the crab and add it ourselves, receive a “discount” or have it remade. With us not enjoying being complicated all but 1 of us decided to go with adding the crab. BOY WAS THAT AN EVEN BIGGER MISTAKE. The crab was full of shells as if they had scraped it right out of the body of a crab with a fork, not to mention that it looked like straight up cat food. My one friend that decided to receive the discount was only given $5 off of her meal. No manage ever spoke to us and to be quite frank anywhere else would have most likely covered our appetizers at the bare minimum. This was so incredibly disappointing and the bill made me sick to my stomach.
This was our favorite restaurant at one time but it’s been so disappointing the last few times we have been there. The shrimp and grits I got tonight tasted spoiled, one bite and I was done. The pimento cheese was so spicy you couldn’t eat it. I feel like we wasted $80!! I literally came home and cooked tacos because we left hungry!
Shrimp was awful and had a weird taste to it

Our waitress was fantastic. The seating was a little uncomfortable and although I appreciate the atmosphere, they need just
a few more lights so it's not quite so dark, especially if you have brown and black menus customers are trying to read. The sangria was really good, tasted a little like Hawaiian Punch for adults. My non-seafood eating hubby loved his chicken tenders and fries, the tenders were huge. My shrimp and grits were hands down the most amazing shrimp and grits I've had in the Upcountry. I haven't had good shrimp and grits like that since my last visit to Charleston. Kudos for nailing this recipe! I will be telling everyone just how good your shrimp and grits are! The gravy and grits were on point and yall are not shy with the shrimp. Got one in every bite. We'll definitely be back!

The seafood tower is delicious. Add a couple of sides, and it is enough for 2. We added the potatoes and the cornbread. I highly recommend.

Started off with the pepper pimento cheese dip that was great (bussdown rating: 8.7/10). The crawfish soup was served with fresh, crispy bread and was very flavorful (bussdown rating: 8.4/10). The full pound of crab legs were also pretty good (bussdown rating: 7.2/10).

Shrimp were funky, and the bayou burger was funky. Got the tuna tartare as an appetizer and it was good. Sat outside- waitress didn't bring napkins or silverware and got a friend's beer order wrong.

The Wait Staff was good. They Both was Nice and Friendly. They was Informative about the food. It was a day after 03/25 My Birthday and the day before 03/27 My Housbands Birthday it was 03/26/24We Both had Our Sites set on Crab Legs. Well We got the Low Country Boil. And 1 lb Crab legs. At another Sea Food Restaurant, We got this same Order. It was at Yammy Crab Some Where in Woner Robins Ga,. Needless to say it was nothing alike. At this Place the Portions was a half Size Smaller (Way Smaller) My Husband got his Crab Legs and then I got mine. At the same time. On his Plate was a large and Good Portion of Crab Legs. On My Plate was a Small and not so good Portion of Crab Legs. Instead of a Plastic Bag like You Normally would get with a low Country. We both got a Small Portion of Quarter Size Potatoes (small) 2 Corn on the Cobs each. About 8 to 10 bite Size Sausage and a good Portion of Peal-N-Eat Shrimp ? about 6 each. I got Tea to Drink and My Housband got 2 Draft Beers and a Ice Water. Well Our Garlic Butter got cold real fast, it turned pretty much into grease. We not Only Dipped Our Legs in it, It also was over Our Corn ?, Potatoes ?, Sausage and We Dipped Our Peal and Eat Shrimp in it also. After 3 to 4 Minutes everything was greasy. The Legs was Good just wasn't enough for the Price. We Paid $126.74 just for Him and I to Eat. $106.74 was for Our Meal, and We gave Our Waiter $20 tip. When We went to Yammy Crab ? in Woner Robin's Ga,.Got the Same thing. Much Larger Portion, Crab Legs was thick, Jucy, Great Flavor. It was in a Plastic bag, soaked In Butter & Garlic Sauce. 2 Corn on the Cobs ?, 2 Boiled Eggs ?, Quarter bite Size Potatoes ?, Sausages and Peal and Eat Shrimp ? all soaked in Cagin Garlic and Butter Sauce. All stayed in the Plastic bag and Stayed Hot and it did not get Greasy. It was Delicious. MY Housband had 2 beers and a Water I had Sweet Tea. For 2 People to Eat and Tip it was $82. Pluse $20 Tip. It = Up to $102. And Everything was Great. Other than the Nice People and Good Customer's Service at Shucks & Oyster, the food was not worth the Price We Paid.YAMMY CRAB ?: Yes We will go Back.SHUCKS & OYSTER: No We won't be going Back.

This place fell off the rotation for 6 months or so, but it's making a steady come back. Vick is one of the best bartenders around and she can make a mean spicy pineapple margarita!!! I'm glad to see things moving in the right direction.
