We stopped for lunch and it was great the brisket was incredible and had a wonderful layer of fat the brought amazing flavor. The waitress was attentive and made sure our drinks were always full.

Ribs the last two times in a roll. Dry and cold. I don't say that happily as smoking pig has a place in my heart because of the Clemson location and all the years before games. So sad that they have not been able to duplicate Clemson.

Walked in and was greeted by the young lady taking orders behind the register. She was very pleasant with a smile on her face. I ordered the ribs/brisket combo with jalapeno cheddar grits and sweet potato fries. Got the food to go. When I went home and opened the container there it was. Beautiful 3 ribs and 2 thick pieces of brisket a side of ranch and a side of spicy bbq sauce. A whole lot of fries and a big side of the grits. I wanted corn bread but got a roll which is absolutely fine because it was so delicious. The ribs were tender the BBQ sauce on it was not too sweet just perfect. The brisket OMG the reviews are absolutely true. One of the best brisket period. Melts in your mouth like butter. Had an amazing smokey flavor. Top notch. The grits with cheddar and jalapenos were mmmmmmmm damn good. Sweet potato fries were on point I got them plain and let me tell you something it was amazing. Not greasy at all perfect. Also ate the red pepper too. It was my first time there and now will be my spot for bbq. If you never tried it you owe it yourself to get there. A huge plate with sides and so much food for 21.99 plus tax well worth it. Don't waste money on fast food get real food. Good job to the kitchen and staff will be back to try the pulled pork next. Thank you very much.

Restaurant offers excellent and friendly service, and the personalities of the staff match the country-style ambiance. Whilst the temperature of the food is not always consistent with every visit, the flavor of the dishes served is unlike anything else in the area, and consists of a splendid sensation with every bite. Pricing is fair although it may seem high, and main courses such as the bbq chicken are excellently paired with sides such as the macaroni and cheese, or Brunswick stew.
