My son and son-in-law were disappointed with the pizza. I had scallop appetizer and shrimp over grits. Both were absolutely awesome! Service was spotty although I feel like we were dining during a change of shift.

We are new to the Anderson area and are looking to find our new “favorite” pizza place. With rave reviews, we decided to give summa joes a try. Our order was incorrect (we ordered pasta with Alfredo and received penne with marinara). Also the pizza was lackluster and tasted comparable to a frozen pizza you could get at a grocery store. On top of that there was a hair in the meat lovers pizza we ordered. Probably will not order again.

I was driving home from North Carolina to Texas, and the pizza was fine. it was tasty and did not make me sick which was probably the greatest thing I could have found during that trip so I would recommend it especially if you're traveling it's a good place to go and it's not too spicy so I believe your children would like it

I've had a few friends share they loved the food & ambience. Summa Joes checked both boxes & service was equally excellent! Not being a southerner I was encouraged to try the fried green tomatoes. Frankly I was prepared with a chaser, assuming they'd be disgusting. I was wrong! Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. So I join my friends in stating Summa Joes has great food, service & ambience!

I'm not sure what has happened here but it's not the same place we loved many years ago. The quality isn't the same. We were eating here nearly every weekend and stopped going sure to the service and food quality. Recently went back to give it another shot... well we're done. Drinks were not refilled and the pizza was near burnt. It's so disappointing but we were hoping it had changed. It's been hard to fine a great quality restaurant in Anderson. There's a few but not many.

Love Summa Joe's. Food is fresh! Their veggie melt us my favorite sandwich, and their tomato bisque soup us so good! Server's are friendly and their cakes are wonderful! I've had their pizza in the past, also very good! Treat yourself! Yummy!

I had the Cubana sandwich. An abundance of meats ham, turkey, and cheeses. So much the bun could not contain the meats and cheeses. The Ceasars dressing was a hit. It provides a nice flavor pop for each bite.
