Absolutely! My inaugural bird dog encounter at Boondocks was truly memorable. The ambiance is perfect for casual dining, and the amiable owner and waitstaff added to the welcoming atmosphere. Although they offer a selection of beer and wine, duty called us back to work this time. However, the prospect of returning for a leisurely drink is certainly on the horizon.

Haven’t been here in awhile. I used to love it years ago, the food and atmosphere was great. We decided to go again today since we were in the area and let me just say it was absolutely disappointing.They have a separate menu for Sunday which is only meat & three. The mashed potatoes and macaroni were so bland. The pork chop was fairly decent, great taste. Really disappointed that we couldn’t get bird dogs and burgers on Sunday because that is the only weekend day they are open.The atmosphere is also extremely boring, like a nursing home. I remember when this place would play music & have groups of people coming in to spend an evening here dining & drinking.The prices are way too high. Meat & three for my husband and I was $38! $38 for a mushy piece of fish, a pork chop and some bland sides.If you have to take your dentures out to eat, then this is the place for you.
