5 stars all around. I can’t brag on this place enough. Service and atmosphere are impeccable. Food is outstanding. And your check is brought to you in a cute little vintage book! It’s an hour away from my house and the drive is absolutely worth it! 10/10

My wife and I had a lovely experience at The Common House for a date night! We made reservations the night before and enjoyed the Primavera tasting menu coupled with some cocktails. It was the perfect opportunity to try a variety of excellent dishes together. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We look forward to visiting again soon!

My wife and I are somewhat “foodies” and this is the one of the best kept secrets in the Upstate, for now that is. Every dish is so thoughtful, fresh, and full of flavor. And not just for dinner, but you also have to try their bunch. I’m disappointed when I’m done eating because the experience is over 😂
Adam, the owner, is going places professionally, and I’m just grateful he began in Anderson.
We are lucky :)
Love all the staff as well. Great humans.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt romantic and elevated—like a true fine dining experience from start to finish. We chose the Tasting Menu, which we cannot recommend highly enough. It’s thoughtfully designed with seven courses that allow you to experience nearly everything on the menu. While seven courses may sound like a lot, each dish was perfectly portioned, making it a joy to savor every plate without ever feeling overwhelmed.

And the food—wow. Every single bite was absolutely divine. Fresh, vibrant, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor, each dish felt like its own little masterpiece. More than once we caught ourselves joking about licking the plates because everything was just that good. The cocktails, beer, and wine selections were also excellent and paired perfectly with the courses.

As unforgettable as the food was, it was the staff who elevated the evening into something truly special. They were warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, orchestrating the entire experience seamlessly from one course to the next. We especially appreciated how they shared details about the locally sourced ingredients and the restaurant’s own farm. Being local farmers ourselves, this sparked such genuine conversation and made us feel even more connected to the meal.

We honestly cannot say enough good things about this experience. It’s a gift to have a restaurant of this caliber so close to home—one that could easily rival the best we’ve dined at in Atlanta, Greenville or Asheville. Chef Adam and the entire team have created something extraordinary here. We left with full hearts, happy stomachs, and excitement to return again soon.

Enjoying the tasting menu, I had an outrageously delish dinner at The Common House. Each course was carefully curated and ABSOLUTELY fabulous! The front house staff was friendly and attentive, it’s obvious that they and the kitchen team are proud of and enjoy what they do. And I had a very nice cortado there the following morning. Visiting Anderson, I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant – I hope to return, just to go back to The Common House.

I went to brunch last Sunday, the remained chicken frittata was well balanced, playful in it's presentation and just well thought out. The service was excellent and I loved, loved, loved the fact that I didn't have to read a book of a menu to make a selection. There were three brunch options. We had 2 of them and they were both well executed. This is what it's all about quality rather than quantity. Just make a few dishes great.
Now the pastries were horrible, the cookie tasted lake it was made with bread flour by mistake, the coffee cake was even worse I got a clump of orange zest in the one bite I took. There clearly a huge difference between those doing the cooking and those making the pastries. Over all the best culinary experience I've had since I moved to Anderson.

The Common house is a hidden gem in Anderson. The food is incredible. All of their food is sourced right from their farm or other local farms. We did the tasting menu (although you don’t have to) so we got to try a little bit of everything. You can tell the chefs put so much thought into each item on the menu from the ingredients to the way it’s prepared/served. The staff is amazing. Something that stuck out to me was how much care they put into each table they were serving. It is definitely more high end/fine dining. Common house is more than just dinner, it’s an experience.

Went here for coffee cause we were in town. Looked at the menu and decided to return for our anniversary dinner. It was amazing. Food was delicious (The Bear) and service was great. Staff wrote us a sweet card and we signed the book! We will return. 🫶

We had an amazing dinner! We shared the Tasting Menu so we could enjoy almost everything from the Spring/Summer inspired menu. Each dish was beautifully plated. The balance of ingredients and flavors reminded us of our time in Italy. We highly recommend dinner at The Common House.
