My husband and I tried this place for the first time last night and it was amazing. We had the 8 course tasting menu. He had the wine pairing package with his, while I had a cocktail and a latte. The food was absolutely delicious. Service was top tier. Everyone working there seemed to love what they were doing and contributed to the experience. I wish I could remember everyone's names, but our main server, Landon, was an absolute treat. Everyone was so attentive to whether or not we were having a good time. I left so full that I had to have my last two courses boxed to go. My husband said the wine pairings were spot on with each course. I definitely recommend this place for a date night or if you just enjoy trying unique and delicious food.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Common House this past weekend and what a culinary adventure it was! We enjoyed the 8-course tasting menu. Each course was a surprise and a delight. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was intimate and exclusive. My husband and I were blown away by the broth of all things and the panna cotta and everything in between. We’ll definitely be back for future menus.
Best restaurant for intimate vibes! Staff very knowledgeable on dishes and wine selecton. Food was excellent, have to do the full 8 course meal to get full experience.
We stopped by here for coffee (lavender latte and one of their new spring lattes) and breakfast and it was a lovely experience. The ambiance is perfect. The service was exceptional and the coffee was some of the best I've had anywhere. If their brunch or dinner is in any way reflected by their coffee service-this place is a knock out.
I can’t speak highly enough about our experience at Common house. Took my two kids and we enjoyed the tasting menu. They treated the kids like royalty and made us feel special and welcome and it was simply a joy to be in the building. The atmosphere is intimate and upscale but not stuffy or pretentious. All that is great, but the food is what matters the most and it was better than we could have imagined. Just like the atmosphere it’s elevated but still rooted in the familiar. It’s obvious thought and care was put into every detail, and it pays off. You know you are experiencing something special with every bite. There wasn’t a single dish that didn’t make us look at each other in shared awe. I’ve lived here my whole life, and I know how lucky we are to have a place like this in Anderson now. I hope everyone will go and show them some love. If you are looking for an alternative to red lobster this probably isn’t the place, but if you go into it with an open mind and secure in knowing dining is more than eating, it’s an experience, you won’t leave disappointed, and you definitely won’t leave hungry. A huge thank you to Elle and Luke and the rest of the staff for making us feel at home.
Husband and I went for dinner and both got the corto 4 course meal. Food was excellent and we loved the atmosphere. I have a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating. Great friendly service, we definitely want to go back to try the 8 course meal!
Hmmm...Really did not know what to expect as the web site did not have a Menu to view or pricing. This is a very high end restaurant. There was not a lot of flexibility with the Menu...5 Course, 9 Course and both my wife and I had to have the same. You had to make
decisions on how to construct courses and wine, beer selections based off what was offered that Week? Odd...the couple seated next to us were able to have Share plates.
Rivals some of the best restaurants in my travels and certainly puts some of the most popular upscale Greenville restaurants to shame. An all encompassing dining experience to be enjoyed.
This is such a wonderful café - just the right mix of cozy, olde world flair. Always my favorite place to sit and chill, visit with friends, or just grab and go with a Lavender Latte.
So excited to try out the changes the common house made last year from a coffee house to a fine dining tasting menu and wine pairing restaurant Wow is all I can say The transformation was truly impressive We travel the world and eat in many fine dining European restaurants and this will give many a run for its money 💴 And now located in Anderson The staff were attentive from the moment we entered and nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble We have the tasting menu and one of the courses was not to our palate - we mentioned this and wow the chef came back with another option to try and it was really special - that is definitely something you don’t often see - thanks 🙏 The wine paring was fun and the team allowed us to experiment and add in additions - really great service all round Hats off to the chef owner / kitchen. and the front of house team for a truly great evening The mood is set for intimate conversation and romantic lighting - this is perhaps a little of putting initially if you are a party of 3 or more but we embraced the concept (phone torches and good humor) and as the evening went on we noticed this less and less. Wine might have had something to do with it 🤣 We be back in spades ♠️ so well done to The Common House

Anderson needs a new special restaurant and they got it. Enjoyed the 5 course dinner for $85 and it was so worth it! Started with Nona's meatballs that we were moist and delish. Then the homemade ravioli, a real highlight. Salad and then the pork entree . Followed by the dessert platter. Holy greatness!. Took half of everything home for dinner the next night. Our server was fantastic, explained wine selections, food and was always checking on us throughout the meal. The atmosphere is cozy, sexy, and warm. A perfect place for that special night or just a drop in. Haven't been there for lunch yet, but plan to try it soon. Don't miss this hidden gem, Anderson.

Yummy. Everything house made. Tried several dishes. The food vibe: upscale takes on authentic home-cooked Italian food. They have ratatouille and such. They serve a "first bite" of parmesan chips with a bone marrow spread and pesto. Just bring me a bowl of that pesto. Ridiculous. Grilled octopus: curiously good. The grilled ciabatta was thick and buttery and delish... the grill marks somehow remind me of roasted marshmallows (sooo good). Fresh pasta: stellar. The meatballs: best I've ever eaten. Tried some kind of pork filled risotto ball. Shut up. Best thing on the menu. Braised pork: scrumptious. Tasty beverages. Five courses for $85... a good deal. Plenty of food. My guess is that this price won't keep long. The server tonight was fabulous (he's also my son, so I might be a bit biased). A great place to celebrate with family.

Homemade pasta with perfect texture, incredible whole Branzino, great cocktails and wine, fabulous service. World class meal - one of the best we’ve had in quite a while. New favorite spot in town, or Greenville. Never leave reviews, genuinely impressed!

Phenomenal dinner to celebrate my bachelorette weekend! The Common House staff created a wonderful setting for our celebration. The food and drinks were amazing and we had a fun toast with the manager at the end of the night! Highly recommend The Common House for any celebratory evening (or non-celebratory)!
