Anderson needs a new special restaurant and they got it. Enjoyed the 5 course dinner for $85 and it was so worth it! Started with Nona's meatballs that we were moist and delish. Then the homemade ravioli, a real highlight. Salad and then the pork entree . Followed by the dessert platter. Holy greatness!. Took half of everything home for dinner the next night. Our server was fantastic, explained wine selections, food and was always checking on us throughout the meal. The atmosphere is cozy, sexy, and warm. A perfect place for that special night or just a drop in. Haven't been there for lunch yet, but plan to try it soon. Don't miss this hidden gem, Anderson.

Yummy. Everything house made. Tried several dishes. The food vibe: upscale takes on authentic home-cooked Italian food. They have ratatouille and such. They serve a "first bite" of parmesan chips with a bone marrow spread and pesto. Just bring me a bowl of that pesto. Ridiculous. Grilled octopus: curiously good. The grilled ciabatta was thick and buttery and delish... the grill marks somehow remind me of roasted marshmallows (sooo good). Fresh pasta: stellar. The meatballs: best I've ever eaten. Tried some kind of pork filled risotto ball. Shut up. Best thing on the menu. Braised pork: scrumptious. Tasty beverages. Five courses for $85... a good deal. Plenty of food. My guess is that this price won't keep long. The server tonight was fabulous (he's also my son, so I might be a bit biased). A great place to celebrate with family.

Homemade pasta with perfect texture, incredible whole Branzino, great cocktails and wine, fabulous service. World class meal - one of the best we’ve had in quite a while. New favorite spot in town, or Greenville. Never leave reviews, genuinely impressed!

Phenomenal dinner to celebrate my bachelorette weekend! The Common House staff created a wonderful setting for our celebration. The food and drinks were amazing and we had a fun toast with the manager at the end of the night! Highly recommend The Common House for any celebratory evening (or non-celebratory)!

Nothing about this place is authentic.. being full blood Italian and siting my time between Italy and NY I was highly disappointed by the fake Italian food ...even the coffees were a bit off ...

They are currently undergoing some remodeling, so the menu was limited. The ham & cheese and spinach & cheese scones were good. I understand that the cinnamon roles are delicious, but they didn't have any when we visited.

Great coffee. They need to update their Google account. No food offered beyond some muffins and pastries. Coffee was great. Perfect place to catch up with a friend.

I have been 3x over the last 6 months, and I’ll start off by saying I highly recommend the establishment, and for those coming in from out of town it is absolutely worth the drive!
First time was to try out this place I had been hearing about, drove from Greenville for a coffee, and immediately wanted to come back. Great place to grab a coffee and do some studying/remote work.
Second time my family was in the city for the Downtown Soirée; we stopped by for the olive oil latte, and it was so delicious that we stopped by for another one a few hours later before heading back home.
Most recently my wife and I got a sitter and drove down for a date night. The dinner service was like nothing we’ve ever experienced before: intimate atmosphere and not overcrowded, a waitstaff that cared enough to actually talk with you, the bartender/mixologist was very knowledgeable and willing to discuss flavors and options before serving (I went with the bartender’s choice option too, great surprise). We don’t usually spend a lot of money for dinner, but everything was top quality and worth the lasting memory. My wife, who is the daughter of a dessert and pastry chef, also said the tiramisu was one of the best she has ever had. We were there for about 2 hours, we took our time and didn’t feel rushed, and we’re able to really savor the moment.
I hope this review encourages you to grab a coffee and/or an evening with your loved one; Common House is an absolute gem, and from what I hear they’ve only just started and have big plans in store.

Our first time dining here (for dinner) and the experience was incredible. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, professional and extremely knowledge of the menu. Just mad we haven’t been here sooner. We can’t wait to come back!

My wife took me for my birthday dinner after she got a referral - neither of us had ever heard of The Common House. WOW! Food was amazing! Some very creative dishes, and everything was delicious! Quite the little gem here in Anderson. Staff was incredible. We also met the owner - the experience was that good that we had to compliment him and his establishment. This is now high on our list of "special occasion" restaurants. It is not inexpensive, but it was well worth the price for the flavor and quality of everything we had. So glad the owner has created this fine restaurant
in Anderson.

We had the pleasure of dining here for dinner on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was unique, the staff were friendly and personable, and the food was INCREDIBLE. One of the best (and memorable) meals that I’ve ever had- the lamb was spectacular. I highly recommend this restaurant for an elevated dinner. Well worth the drive from Greenville.
