The Hook Seafood and Oyster House

The service and food are both terrible and certainly not worth the price. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else in Anderson. You'll be better off.

This time our food was incomplete. My husband was missing a piece of fish from his entree and I didn't have my salad dressing. This is not common for The Hook, so needless to say we're disappointed

Our first experience was amazing. Johnathan our waiter was super helpful and friendly! He recommended the freshest raw oysters and they were super delicious. My husband and I with got the catfish and clam strips we were blown away at the portion size we could have just ordered one but there were plenty of leftovers which we devoured later and through the next day. I recommended this restaurant with 10÷ stars. Thank you for an awesome experience

We went early. It was quiet then. We had more food than we could eat and I brought it home. Zach was our server and he was really good at paying attention to our table.

They will not seat you if you’re not in the restaurant 40+ minutes prior to close. Ridiculous! We were there 40 minutes prior and had to place a to go order which we still had to wait 20 minutes for. Plenty of time to eat and leave before closing. The website/phone message should say this if you can’t be served up until closing.

Food was ok . I ordered the broiled seafood platter. Now mind you when I see platter I think a good amount of food not fries or hush puppies. I got one piece of fish 3 scallops and 3 shrimp not worth the 27 bucks

Jonathan was an awesome server. The fried green tomatoes over the creamy grits were awesome! Going back.

OLD waitress lady only wanted to serve ppl she thought where gonna give her a tip then the seafood tasted like clorox I just think it was discriminationall the way around the board NEVER GOING BACK AND DO NOT RECOMMEND
