Iām traveling for work and I stopped here for breakfast based on the recommendation from a local. Itās the definition of a treasured hole in the wall restaurant that youād have to be a local to know about. It wasnāt fancy food, but it was good food. Delicious. What was really striking was the atmosphere. It was like I had just gone to someoneās kitchen to hang out and eat. Everyone there knew each other and talked and so did the owner who was also the cook and the waitress and she did all those things perfectly and simultaneously somehow. She was able to mix up my omelette while discussing local goings on with a patron without skipping a beat. An old guy comes in and just goes to the coffee and pours himself a cup. Another patron does the same and offers me a refill. Itās like you just walked into some familyās kitchen and now theyāre your family too. But you get to leave and never see them again if you donāt want to. And you donāt have to do the dishes or feel guilty about it. Great experience overall.

Supercool little hidden away nugget. Valerie and her daughter were serving it up and engaging in this quaint venue. A guest, I assumed to be a regular, had actually covered my bill by the time I went to pay. What a nice surprise that was!?
