This would normally be a total 5-star review but this incident has happened two times within the last few months. I completely understand the need for cleaning the floors between shift changes (and I do not have a problem with that) but the use of an extremely fragrant floor cleaner (Fabuloso) while customers are eating is unacceptable. I found it difficult to breathe (much less enjoy my meal) while inhaling the fumes. Please consider purchasing a different less-fragrant cleaner...
Very friendly, talkative and familiar wait staff. The service was fast, but the food wasn't great. The grits were so cold, butter didn't melt on them. The waffle wasn't cooked through and was pale and doughy. There were scarcely and pecans in the pecan waffle and those were just dumped in the middle.
The food was cooked fresh and hot. The server assisted with everything I needed. The grill was very dirty, so I made my server aware of this problem. In response, the cook promptly cleaned the grill. However, I did use plastic utensils (I suggest using plastic utensils at all restaurants if possible)
