This is now El Arriero. I had pollo pop-eye and it was VERY salty and the rice wasn’t very good, just tasted like the canned veggies it was mixed with. Salsa was good. Service was fine. Maybe it’s new restaurant kinks they need to work out, but I wouldn’t go back for a while until they are more settled in.
When we entered the sign said "please wait to be seated" We stood waiting and noticed the bartender just looked at us, no greeting, have a seat or anything. After a few minutes, i just asked if we sit ourselves. He said yes and he would get the waitress. Food was good and service was good from our waitress.
Awesome little tucked away gem! So… classic bar food, but with a unique beachy type twist! Also, full menu!!! All the food was great and FRESH!!! We tried the chips and some special dip, I meant to take a pic of the menu, but I forgot. It had cream cheese, ham, bacon, and pineapples in it. So good! Cousin had the volcano shrimp that lasted 2 seconds. The side salads were big and fresh. All dressing is homemade! For entree I had the Huli Huli Chicken- a bbq styled grilled chicken....
