Fun place to dance if you don't mind under age kids there. Not a ton of room to dance but it was really busy the night we went. Lots and lots of under 21 year olds!

We attended a Corey Smith concert there and had the best time! Wendall's looks like an old dance hall out in Texas, complete with line dancing and a hardwood dance floor that takes center stage in the bar. As a concert venue, it's small but that also means there's no bad seat in the house. We were able to see the band even from the back of the room without fighting the crowds in front of the stage. It was a busy concert night so it took awhile to get drinks at the bar. They are tight on security which I appreciated and ladies, there is a clear bag policy like most concert venues these days.

Great Atmosphere, Music, and Drinks. Saturday night seems to draw a young crowd. Lots of line dancing, fantastic music, and excellent staff!!! 10/10 Recommend!!

Great place!
We went to see Wyatt Flores and enjoyed it for the type venue it is. I do recommend pit tickets over general admission if you can choose!
Really nice venue, awful parking. May want to carry with how insane the field gets afterwards… there’s no order and get ready to have immature drunk adults stand in front of your car to let others out for money…
Great honky-tonk! Outdoor concert venue was fun.
We were here recently to see Flatland Cavalry. Although the outdoor venue has potential and the band sounded great, it was unfortunate that the bar started periodically playing loud bass music during their set?? The event also seemed a bit oversold, it was jam packed. The tickets were unclear, stating that doors were at 5pm and the show started at 7:30 with 1 opener. Well, there were actually 2 openers and Flatland didn’t end up going on until 9:15. There is not exit/re-entry and I’m convinced that this is a ploy to trap people there and keep them buying food and drinks. What really made this place awful though was the parking situation. When you arrive, there is ample staff to park you in a big field across from the bar. Leaving the show was a NIGHTMARE. There didn’t seem to be any staff or police presence in the parking lot guiding anyone. We inched towards the exit for over an hour. Drunk college kids started running around the lot and taking money to block traffic so other cars could get out. I had to play chicken with someone to finally force my way out. I would think twice before seeing a show here, especially if you think it’s going to be popular.
The amphitheater needs vast improvement. 1 st - The Outdoor Venue is definitely not Ada compliant. I had to park across the ROAD, in a field, then walk - ON CRUTCHES - through the field, cross the road, then walk uphill through mud. There was no one to offer assistant to someone with mobility issues. After climbing the stairs and navigating through the crowd - uphill on crutches - I did make it to level ground to place our chairs. 2nd - THE TREES IN THE CENTER of THE OUTDOOR VENUE ARE AN OBSTRUCTION to VIEW THE STAGE! 3rd - the music was not loud enough to carry through to the very top of the venue 4th - HUGE THANKS to the young man at the main building asphalt parking lot entrance who took the time to GO FIND a golf cart to take me to my car at the end of the event!!! I think we will not return for an outdoor event at this venue - whether I am using crutches or walking with no mobility issues. Significant attention and changes need to be made to better accommodate persons with mobility issues at the outdoor venue. The sound quality and volume also needs a HUGE improvement! We love FLATLAND CALVARY! ❤️ But the venue was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT
DO NOT WORK HERE-THEY WONT PAY YOU! If I could give it less than 1 star I would. We, a group of over 15 different bartenders were booked to work and traveled from ATLANTA to Anderson to work the Flatland Calvary concert. We were booked at a certain pay and NOT ONE OF US RECEIVED ANY PAY FOR THE 9 hours we worked and the 5 hours round trip that we drove. The owners and management all avoided us at the end of the night and we literally had to chase them around just to pay us a PORTION of our credit card tips. This is illegal and in my 23 years of bartending I have NEVER DEALT with such shady unprofessional owners in my life.

Cannot handle a crowd of more than 100
Absolutely wonderful place for a night out even though crowded it's definitely a comfortable place
Went to Ella langley concert. Acoustic were not good. We could not hear her speak.
Wendell’s…. The perfect place if you like to be crammed like sardines in a can…. Came here to see Ella Langley…. We could barely hear her and not even see her at all! Show was way over sold and very poor layout for an inside event. Everything is so flat and you can’t see the stage unless you are in the first few rows! Probably a better place for the outside venue they have on site but will never return for another inside event! Also we were one of the first few people inside before it even got busy and the kitchen couldn’t keep up. Very slow moving and no sense of urgency…
