Writing this review as I’m still sitting here an hour later waiting for my food. It’s going on 1hr and 10 minutes and I’ve watched family friends, and customers who ordered AFTER me come & go. I love supporting black businesses but not under these circumstances. I called in before I came and asked how’s the food prepared, is it cook to order, or is it prepared and sitting on a hot bar. The reply from Daniya or something along the terms were “it’s already ready” . I drove 35 minutes to patronize this business as there are 50+ black business in the surrounding area within the same radius that I could’ve patronized. I chose them, now it’s starting to feel like regret. I honestly can care less if the food is good at this point because waiting a hour is completely insane after being mislead that the food is already prepared. Cool, I appreciate fresh food, but being told 20 minutes on an order I’ve waited over an hour for is insane. Communication is terrible, I seen customers whom dined in and arrived the same time as me come and go as I’ve been sitting here. This is just completely unacceptable. Let’s see if we will get comped for our EXTRA wait time. I highly doubt it, but I’ll update my review if we are.

Best food in the 864 … Life changing food. Better than granny’s cooking, don’t tell granny I said that though. Family atmosphere, most of the customers seem to have been regulars and I plan on joining the regular club. Mad at myself for not trying this spot out sooner.

I was craving some good home cooking and Wilhelmina’s Kitchen did just that! I had the fried chicken, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, and sweet potato crunch. I wish I had taken a picture but I just couldn’t wait to stuff my mouth. 100% will be coming back again and again.

I can list dozens of reasons why this is my FAVORITE restaurant. The food is fabulous, but the staff make you feel like family. I got there one Sunday and they had just closed. I told them my husband was gonna kill me bc all day that's all he will think about. So they stopped what they were doing and really took care of me! The fried chicken is the best I have ever had. My friends and family always said my fried chicken was the best. But now my husband says I don't have to do all that work bc theirs is better.?. My sister is a very picky eater. She came to visit and she liked the green beans so much that she keeps asking me to put some on dry ice and mail them to her. She agrees about the chicken as well. I've never had anything from there that wasn't amazing. And I have never seen any of the people working there without a smile. They are a blessing. Just wish the hours were a little later but that don't stop me. If you are in the area you must give them a try! Thank you Wilhelmina crew.
Parking: It's beside a convenient store so some times it might be tight, but always a place to park

Super pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and great food. Meat and three like Mother used to make. Great place to stop for food on Saturday game days. Limited hours at the moment, but they are expanding. Looking forward to our next visit.

OMG the food is so delicious. It's family owned and I luv their hospitality. I felt at home here and the food was so good that I felt like I was in my grandma's kitchen. I definitely recommend it and I will definitely be back.
