Great food but the service is horrible when you have to wait an hour and a half for a two plate takeout order something is desperately wrong they got to fix this I love the restaurant I love eating their food but I'm going to quit coming if the service doesn't improve and I know other people who've told me the same thing they need to fix this.

I was told I wouldn’t be disappointed, but I really was. I ordered a little bit of everything, and honestly, I’m most disappointed in myself for not checking the bag before I left. I ordered black-eyed peas, mac and cheese, green beans, creamed corn, collard greens, sweet potato crunch, and chicken.
I didn’t receive the collard greens, the “creamed corn” was just canned kernel corn, the sweet potatoes were plain sweet potatoes (not the crunch I expected), and the mac and cheese was dry. People have been raving about this place, but I didn’t enjoy it.

I'm born n raised southern. Today I ordered broccoli casserole. squash casserole. rice n gravy Cole slaw and fried chicken. The food was not at all good. the Cole slaw had so much vinegar in it I made a face and didn't eat more. the broccoli casserole was disgusting. in some kind of brown sauce and zero cheese. the squash was slightly better. the biscuit had an extreme after taste that was chemical. THEY CHARGED ME 20 BUCKS FOR THIS HIDEOUS FOOD will not go back

My husband and I really enjoyed the food; it was very delicious. The spot was peaceful, the service was great, and the people were very nice. The banana pudding was unique, but it was definitely a positive surprise. We will definitely be coming back!

We needed last minute catering for a funeral and they came to the rescue while providing an abundance of, not only food, but just overall service that made everyone just breathe and settle down. The food and drinks were great and delicious. We appreciate everything that was done. Hands down, great experience!
