Loved the outside seating on this beautiful day. Had to order our food to go to sit outside but it was perfect. They have music at 5pm (I think). Friendly service.
Ordered the lunch platter which includes shrimp, flounder and oysters and you can have them grilled or fried. And it came with your choice of two sides and two hush puppies.

Myself and two ladies went from the Avian Conservancy Center that had a wonderful presentation and demonstration of wildlife birds to Seewee Restaurant! The place was packed with people! All said their food was delicious! The service was quick the food was hot! I had a delicious fried flounder filet that came with Two amazing hush puppies, my two sides were tender and tasty collards and French fries. One lady lived their red beans and rice. I had a slice of their coconut cake! It was light and moist and tasted amazing! We parked along the side street.

The food was good and warm. The service could have been better the staff was like a big family also gossiped like a big family. We asked where the bathroom was and the waiter laughed and said it was outside and we went out and saw port-a-potty's as well as two single stall bathrooms with no toilet paper and little to no soap. The place was dated but I think it gives it charm. Charm was nice but could be cleaner. THE BEST PART WAS THE FRIDGE WAS IN THE DINNING ROOM.

About $30 plate give or take and the sides come in a small styrofoam container. Way overpriced and all fried in same batter so it didn’t matter if it was mushrooms of shrimp it all tasted the same. The bathroom is outside of the place and is a narrow box - don’t hit your head! If you’re a little large you’ll have to visit the porta-potty. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Went here with folks from Charleston on our way from McClellanville back to Charleston. They said this was the place to stop.
Was so looking forward to some fried flounder
I was let down. The fish was mushy
Disappointed to say the least

Always a delight to eat here and very accommodating folks plus some of best she crab soup around. Great pork chops, I personally like mine grilled. My better half likes checking out the great specials.

The food is good old fashion southern cooking. The only issue is they only have port-a-potties outside for rest rooms.

Always consistent and the staff is friendly. The she crab soup with sherry is the best I’ve had in Charleston. Thanks, Mary!

This place seems to have cut back a little too much. The fried shrimp tasted like frozen, the fried catfish had bones, the butter beans were actually limas- food quality has definitely declined. It will be a long time before we go again, if ever!

Friends took me here and it was a delight.
Upon walking in I noticed a rare outside of Tennessee soft drink called SunDrop.
I had crab dip, and catch of the day.
This locally owned restaurant is worth the drive from Charleston.

This is a very quaint country seafood restaurant. The transition from a country home to eating establishment, really assists in the atmosphere.

Went for dinner with friends and had a fantastic meal. Service was warm and accommodating for a large group. The menu has traditional seafood dishes prepared three different ways:fried, grilled or “Seewee” with Old Bay. We sampled a wide variety of dishes from the menu and daily specials-all were well prepared, delicious and generous portions. The grouper and shrimp special in white wine was exceptional. They have never failed to serve good food in a comfortable, relaxed setting
