Seewee Restaurant reminds me of the seafood restaurants my family ate at on vacations at the beach when I was young. The food is every bit as good as what I remember from back then, and with more choices of how it is prepared. When my brother asked about going out for seafood while he was visiting, I told him,"I know just the place." It was just what he was looking for.

It's not fancy but might be the best paper plate and picnic table, fried seafood place you can choose. From awesome hush puppies to divine she crab soup to grouper nuggets, lunch was wonderful.

I came in on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch at around 12:30 in the afternoon on October 15, 2024. I ordered the flounder with calamari rings and scallops and that came with two sides so I’ve got the french fries and I ordered the coleslaw but she forgot my coleslaw Once I got my food, I didn’t even remember that she didn’t bring me the coleslaw because there was a lot of food and it was absolutely cooked perfectly. Everything was cooked perfectly. I got the flounder grilled and the scallops grilled and they both were delicious. The calamari was perfectly cooked with this very light breading on it. The breading was not seasoned, which I enjoyed greatly because the whole point of eating perfectly cooked calamari is the calamari itself. They also start you out with a small order of hush puppies and butter. My waitress was pleasant and brought me what I ordered besides the coleslaw, but she was a good waitress. If you are going to come to this place, you better be hungry. Good portions. I was in the area and took a chance on this place and I am very glad that I did. I highly recommend this place and I will come back. I work hard for my money, so thank you very much SEEWEE for the good food and the good service.

A local favorite! Parking can be difficult. But, it'a only because this place stays busy. It's worth it.
I checked Google. It said it closed at nine. I got there at 8:46 and they said they were closed. So maybe it’s not fair that I rate the food but no food no service no atmosphere no nothing.

Terrible food and service. Shrimp was barely warm and rubbery. Green beans also were barely warm. Took forever to get food with no apology or explanation. Will never go back. Do not recommend.

Hidden gem! We seek out no-frills, off the beaten path restaurants and See Wee delivers in every category. Hole-in-the-wall, delicious & authentic. This meat and three meets seafood restaurant is worth the drive. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend the fried shrimp, fried flounder, butter beans, green beans, fried okra, squash, and desserts. Hush puppy starter is not to be skipped. Quiet atmosphere and family friendly. Accessibility note: There is a ramp to get someone up the majority of the steps but customers would still need to be able to navigate 1-2 steps into the restaurant. Restrooms are located around the side of the building, which could also be challenging for some visitors.
