The food was awful the pulled pork sandwich meat was very very dry no seasoning no flavor . The fried chicken gizzard were over cooked and dried out. Again no seasoning. I dont recommend a waste of money.

? Delicious BBQ, of course . . . And collards among all the other veggies available & my fav rice & hash. Finished of my buffet meal w ?nanner pudding . . . Great evening w the fam.Oh yeah & Scottie is very passionate about his BBQ. Very 1st visit to Duke's Bamburg, but it won't be my last. Tried lots of the other Duke's BBQ & this 1 is worth the trip. ?

Went here a year ago while passing through bamberg and loved it. This time it was around 5pm on a Saturday and all the food appeared to have been sitting there for hours.Bbq was extremely dry...not worth eating.Mac and cheese was dry and had clearly Sat for hours...about half full but looks like they kept stirring it to try to keep it moist as was just a tub full of noodle mash. Chicken was warm but clearly sitting for hours as it was dry. They brought out more chicken before we left and it was good and hot.Servers were nice and after we asked they brought out more bbq but is wasn't any better. Also brought out more Mac and cheese which was good and hot.Both bathrooms were out of order and floor in dining room was very sticky.Fried okra had good flavor but was not hot. Same with corn fritters.Maybe you need to only go there when it is busy because there were only four others there when we arrived this time. About ten more people arrived just before we left so I guess we arrived prior to the dinner rush.Too bad. We loved it the last time we came but won't be back.

This location is absolutely, positively the most NASTY not just barbecue restaurant, but overall restaurant I've even eaten at. First of all, the BBQ itself was just nasty! It tasted like they tried to take 1/2 of what meat that they would normally use, and stretch it out as far as they could. They only had a little bit of food on the buffet, which is weird for like 12:30 on a Friday. And finally, and most importantly, while I was eating this very subpar food, a roach crawled up right up beside my arm/plate on the table. Yeah!! That was it for me. I decided to give the management the opportunity to make it right, and they totally did. He obviously refunded the entire meal for the four of us. But! Where I have a problem is that the manager, as nice as he was, tried to explain it away by saying that they had recently had the place exterminated. Ummmm... yeah! Not something to tell a dissatisfied customer. I wasn't ugly to the manager, and in all fairness, he was trying to be as accommodating to me as he could. I just obviously wish I had known this in advance, I wouldn't have chosen to eat here to begin with. I wasn't going to write a bad review about this, but as a contributator, I feel it's my responsibility to pass on this information to anyone else who may be thinking about eating here. A simple solution could have saved this situation. If their bug problem is bad enough for bugs to be crawling around on tables, whew! I cannot imagine how bad they were in the kitchen. So, why not close down for a couple/few days until your establishment is able to get the bug problem under control. I mean, it's not like they are opened seven days a week. It could have been taken care of on say, Monday to Wednesday, and get them eradicated If that didn't take care of the problem, don't open until it's completely taken care of. I truly hate to give such a bad review. In the past, I've always enjoyed the food from this location. Not that it matters to management, I'm sure, but going forward, I'll eat at another location of Dukes BBQ, or another establishment all together.
