This has honestly been one of the best experiences at a little old-school diner. We're in town for an airsoft event and stayed at the lofts next door to here- (we've been waiting all weekend to be able to stop in.) The staff has been phenomenal. Each one, including the cook, has come over and asked if we needed anything and how our food was. One lady made a point on her way out to come over and thank us for visiting and left with a "have a safe, blessed night."
The food was great, btw!! The homemade sodas, pie, and shakes were great, too.
To whomever owns this little joint, you have an awesome crew and should definitely be proud of them.
We look forward to visiting again!!! 10/10 ⭐️

i walked into red hill grill and was told to get a menu at the counter order food and then I ordered a hamburger a chicken sandwich with fries no drink. when order was done I was handed the food with not so much as a thank you. and the bill was 30 dollars a bit pricy. good food but a bit much and really no service

I’ve been so excited to visit ever since I saw the sign go up and it did not disappoint! I got the Hell’s Half Acre and I just feel like you can’t go wrong with a chicken sandwich! It was so good and the sweet potato fries were nice and crispy! I love the vibe this place creates and love to see all the bits of Barnwell’s history throughout the restaurant. I also think the glass cups are a cute touch! Will definitely be coming back (again and again)!

We stopped in on our way through and the food was delicious! We had “the Red Hill” and “the Best” sandwich & burger and oh my gosh the sweet potato maple biscuit on “the Red Hill” is amazing! Definitely exceeded expectations. The interior is really clean & modern while perfectly balancing the retro atmosphere. We loved all the photos on the wall of what the building & town looked like through the years.

Bob and Dawn have really created something so special here in our area! Every detail from the retro diner vibes down to the vintage cartoon cups your drinks are served in are so perfect. The food is delicious and not a bite was left to spare. I had the Ellenton (burnt ends sausage dog topped with Cole claw and house made chips) and I am already trying to figure out how soon is too soon to return for round 2. Go check this out and give the Red Hill Grill your support! You will not be sorry ?

So glad they're finally open! Brought my family here for dinner this weekend, and Wow, what a great spot! I had the Salkehatchie, which was delicious (be mindful, it's a pretty messy sandwich- that should be expected from a sandwich named after a river). The staff was super welcoming, and the ambience was fun. Truly a wonderful addition to the square! Hoping they keep it up!

So cute! This retro-style diner is tucked in the heart of Barnwell and definitely stands out among all the restaurants there. They offer a large menu packed with delicious foods for fair prices. The atmosphere is on point, and the staff are excellent. If you're ever in Barnwell and itching for some good 'ole American dinner, I highly recommend Red Hill Grill.

Parking: If you come when it's busy you may have a hard time finding parking.
