We were passing through the area on a Sunday. It's a small town and there are not many options except chains. We happened upon this gem looking for a Hardee's. We prefer to spend local even when it isn't "local" to us. We got a shrimp po boy with white beans and a chicken po boy with fries. I was supremely impressed. The shrimp was hand battered and delicious. The chicken was amazing. The fries tasted fresh. The only complaint was the beans needed a tad more salt. Next time in the area, 2 months, I will definitely go back.

Been here twice so far, both times were great. Got fried pickles this time and although im not big on spears, they were delicious, whatever batter they use is amazing. The gentleman that took our order was extremely nice. Will definitely add this in to our rotation.
I TRIED THE HANKERIN FOR THE FIRST TIME, AND IT WAS GREAT PEOPLE COMPLAIN THE SERVICE IS SLOW. BUT THE FOOD IS COOKED TO ORDER AND ITS NOT CONSIDERED A FAST FOOD RESTURANT, I HAVE BEEN BACK 2 MORE TIMES AND TOOK FRIENDS, WE WERE WELCOMED AND HAVE NO COMPLAINTS, THE WORKERS THERE WERE HAPPY TO ASSIST US AND WERE CLEANING WHEN THEY WERENT HELPING CUSTOMERS, JAYME AND MANDI WERE GREAT HOST.

Came back to change my review. We gave it another shot and were pleased. They made sure we had everything correct and were so friendly!Please note the French fries have a special seasoning with cinnamon and brown sugar and I was not a fan but that is not the fault of the restaurant. When I called to ask about it they offered to bring me replacement fries. I wasn’t complaining just was so curious about the seasoning. I will eat here again. Also, prices are super reasonable. Fed my family of 5 for right over $30!
