I will give it a 3 because there is always room for improvement. The food was good but if I would have seen behind the counter before I sat down I would have rolled out. .there were food partials on the counter where you cash out. Looking over the counter at the grill station was disgusting. Food under the stove food on the floor trash on the floor. And not one person cleaning it up. The prep station was just nasty remnants of food on the prep station .nasty hand stains and grease on the stainless. Your back eating area looked to have cigarette butts on the broken down 30year old bench. Not good . I wanted to contact the health department what does your walk in look like if it looks that bad up front can I imagine. Just nasty.. no reason for it.

The only issue i had was that we were the ladies' rest rooms, which was a horrible mess. There were stalls not working, and three toilets were full of bowel movements. All over the toilets. I found a staff member to complain to, but I didn't notice there was a rush to resolve the issue. The staff stated they would look into it. I didn't notice anyone going toward that direction. Nevertheless, we got snack items and left. The staff member, who assisted us at checkout, was kind. I hope the next time I won't have to use the rest rooms

We were hungry and hadn't found anywhere to eat on the southside of Columbia when we went on US 378 from I-26 to I-20. I thought we'd find something, but every exit was empty of food until we got to this one and decided to give Huddle House a try. We had visited one in Cleveland, GA, last year and had a great breakfast in a packed restaurant. We were the only customers here except for one late arrival. The 2 waitresses were seated at a table playing on their phones and babysitting. The cook didn't seem too busy either. I had the Philly Chz Steak w Tater Tots, and my other half had the Patty Melt, also w Tater Tots. We both just drank water. There didn't appear to be a credit card upcharge, but there was a 3% "Supply Chain Adjustment" added to the bill?? If everyone, cash or credit, pays this free, then ok, but put notice on menu! Amanda was our waitress per the receipt. Service was friendly but minimal! In conclusion, I wouldn't return to this location. I would hold out for Augusta or Columbia or even Atlanta or Charlotte!

HARD to mess up an established franchise selling diner fare. I guess the folks in charge here are over-achievers.Worn out decor, dismal food quality, and some areas were cordoned off.Also, cash only when we visited. Huh? It's attached to a convenience store....just keep driving.

The young woman who served my future wife and I was sweet , polite and very fine waitress.When we go back it'll be at her work station .The only negative is cash only .I don't ever carry cash and paid 3.99 to get 40.00 from atm .But our dining experience was 5star for sure .Parking: Alot

The waitress was impatient and clearly irritated when I asked for anything. The shakers and menus were sticky. The fruit wasn't so fresh. Unfortunately, we'll find another place to meet for brunch. It's not worth the convenience.

The restaurant is located inside of a truck stop. The entire staff was very friendly, warm, courteous and professional. This truck stop is located close the entrance and exit ramps to I-20 West Bound and I-20 East Bound.

This is a great place for any meal especially since I and the many rural locals are always seen eating here. The waitresses and down home atmosphere and fresh delicious meals will make this your favorite also. I do believe this is better than Cracker Barrel when it comes to service and price.

Been twice, first time was decent. Second time every single piece of food from bacon to biscuits were frigid cold. Place needs a serious makeover, the seats are caved in like they have been crushed by something, seats are worn tourn and filthy.

Got the huddle burger that was destroyed by the ragged looking cook. By the time he got done smashing the meat without adding seasoning it was no bigger than a double cheeseburger from McDonald's. The waitress cared more about her phone than providing service, which is what happens when you hire children to work. Good management going on there. Light bulbs were out over tables and only one person was there eating. The place has always been hit or miss this time I was just done and definitely want give them any more of my money.

Sorry didn't go inside. All 3 of my granddaughters live in Perry. This is a meeting spot for us. My youngest granddaughter was meeting me there to bring me Thanksgiving day dinner.
