Had not been in a long while, and made the decision to revisit.Wow, we were impressed!The renovations are nice! It gives the place a much more upscale look. So clean and bright.The food actually tasted so incredibly fresh!The only thing that prevented a complete 5-star review was the service: little things that could be improved upon were so very disheartening. It's as though they are lacking for a coach or manager that could get them functioning as a team with a bit more joy. That's it, the wait staff as a whole seemed a little too distant and robotic.We will return... because... well, the food!!

I came here with a gift card. I handed my gift card to a human when I walked in to verify that I could use it because it had been issued at another location. The human I asked took it to the register where several humans discussed it and the human brought it back and said, yes. They would honor it. When it came time to pay, they refused to honor it, and when I brought up that they had already said they would, Jacqueline rather sternly told me that she was there when the first conversation was had, and that it was not their problem. Go here if you want, but I'll always pick San Jose over here, especially after tonight. Let me say that I have no problem paying for what I order but this specific situation boils down to the principle of how things occurred.
