First time I've left a review like this, but it wasn't a good experience. I decided to try to them because they were next to the hotel I was staying at. I was behind some other folks who had obviously been waiting for quite some time while who I assume was the host dealt with a take out customer. When they asked if anyone was available to seat them, the employee rudely told them he was busy. Needless to say the left and I followed.

Shrimp and flounder combo. Very greasy tasting. Too much grease still on the food when served and tasted like the grease was too old

After being away many years, I returned to Beaufort for a visit and THIS was the place I had to go to. Great prices, great food, great views!

Food was so delicious & fresh seafood- the service was okay, it took them almost 25 mins before they even took our drink order, and the kitchen was backed up but everyone was very nice and again, food was great

Our visit to Gilligan's was absolutely great. My son and I stopped in for an early dinner. Everything from the appetizers to our main course was hot, fresh, and served fast. Selena, our waitperson was attentive and extremely pleasant. We will DEFINITELY return for the good food and hospitality!

First let me say service was outstanding. I was sat quickly, and drink order taken. The food was hit and miss. I ordered the grouper fingers appetizer, large portion, very crispy and I liked the dipping sauce that came with it. For dinner I ordered the flounder and shrimp combo. Again nice and crispy, 9 pcs of shrimp and 2 fillets of flounder. The shrimp were delicious. Now the flounder, it was thin, over cooked and wasn't a very good chew. I would go again but would definitely not order there flounder.

We were quite literally the ONLY table in the restaurant! The lights on the outside were not on and there were no cars in the parking lot. We tried the door and it opened, so we went in! All of the servers were super friendly and more than willing to answer questions. The hostess was awesome too! Excellent food and everything was clean! Thank you for an excellent experience.

Our server was awesome!!!! The shrimp we got was delicious and the sides were on point. We will definitely be stopping in here again when we visit MCRD again.
