I love having a locally-owned bakery to frequent and support! Can't imagine a better place in a perfect setting. The owners are so amazing too! I gained great appreciation during COVID when they started offering evening meals. So glad they've continued this as some of my favorite dinners have been from them!

I stopped in after a dental appointment and left with four bags of goodies. Ali was such an amazing server and walked me through the showcases to find what suited my needs. I met the sweet pastry chef, too. I wanted ten of each item. What a delightful visit!!!!!

Massive cookies, delightful and varied baked breakfast goodies, and great breads. Molasses cookies among my favorites and don’t seem to dry out as fast as some of the other cookies. It is always hard to choose a breakfast item because they not only all look good, every one that I have had tasted yummy.

But what makes me take the time to write this review is the cheerful, friendly greeting and service. They are paying attention to the customer. Don’t miss this place. I just read some of the earlier reviews and I must say, I didn’t experience anything negative st all. The delicious scone was served warm, the croissant was fresh and delicious, the spinach and bacon omelet was loaded with fresh spinach and smoked bacon, and the staff was attentive and friendly. Whatever issues they might have had, they have apparently worked them out. We had a wonderful breakfast with many great options from the bakery shelf . We would definitely go there often if we lived here .

I heard they were under new ownership. Use to be a go-to place. Very unfriendly service. Much less variety and the quality has fallen. Will not return.

The staff was not friendly at all, nor did they ask us or anybody else in the place if everything was OK. Well, my burrito was not OK. The potatoes were barely cooked and hard. My wifes scone was not heated as ordered as well. This place needs a LOT of work. Very depressing experience.
My wife and I decided to check out BBC today and we were not disappointed. My wife had the Bahn Mi sandwhich and I had the Cuban. Staff was prompt and welcoming. Probably the best dining experience I’ve had in Beaufort SC. I highly recommend coming into BBC for lunch and for their decadent pastries.

They have a special version of a Reuben, which you can have with corned beef or pastrami and slaw or sauerkraut. I recommend it highly. They have a wide range of other choices, but I always go back to the Reuben.

Closed for family reasons. They had the best bread and croissants in town, as well as great lunches! Sad and surprised to see them close. Hope they will reopen...!

Sandwiches are very tasty and the ingredients are fresh. Best part was the service - super helpful and patient with my kids who were being picky and couldn't decide what to get. Wish you had locations in Northern VA!!!

Consistently great salads and sandwiches! I love the Feta Salad with extra olives when I'm skipping meat for a meal, you definitely don't miss the meat. Billy does a great job running our local Groucho's!
