I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Food was absolutely DEEEE-LISH, the atmosphere was welcoming and so peaceful, and the employees were knowledgeable of the area and funny. The area needs more of this. Can't wait to visit again. You will not be disappointed.

We had a relaxing lunch of shrimp and grits, collard greens, gravy and cole slaw with jazz music in the background. We were served with a smile, the service was slow which somehow seemed right, and the food was basic but tasty.
Just ate here on the way home from vacation and it was GREAT!!! The atmosphere and the hostess!! Hubby and I will be back!

We were so glad to have found this hidden gem during our first visit to Beaufort. I had the fish and grits with a side of fried okra and my wife had a fish sandwich. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was delightful.

Stopped for lunch with my wife. I had the poboy she had the shrimp basket. Both were excellent. Service was great, location very clean. I look forward to returning and catching some live music.

Excellent server, excellent food, however, the wait after we ordered was looooooong. The shrimp and grits was awesome as was the chicken and waffles. The shrimp poor boy was good. The fried fish had a rather strong flavor, definitely not a mild white fish. All-in-all we did enjoy the meal, but as I said the wait was a bit longer then expected.
