Ordered a large meal online with a quoted prep time of about 45 minutes. We arrived roughly 20 minutes after to allow extra prep and were told it would be a 5-minute wait. Instead, we waited 30–40 minutes...
The issue wasn’t the wait itself, but the lack of clear communication. If we had been told upfront that the order would take longer, we would have gladly left and returned later. A simple, honest update would have made a big difference.
Seemed like the staff member helping either knew the order would be a longer wait and was avoiding telling us or simply had poor communication. She'd make eye contact then walk away...
The website limits large orders to longer prep windows, which makes sense—but that system doesn’t seem effective if orders aren’t started until arrival and customers aren’t informed of delays.

Food was cold Country fried steak hard they had plated my food scraped something off and still brought it out. Presentation is everything. Pancakes cold eggs overcooked. Coffee was at least drinkable. Waitress next to ours telling every guest stories about her sister and every dog she ever had. People are here to eat. Polite conversation is one thing but please let people enjoy their sub par food. Worst IHOP experience ever.

Food was actually really good. Could use some salt and pepper to your liking, but for the price, it was spot on. A little bit of a wait for the food compared to the amount of sitting tables, but if they keep pushing food like that, there will likely be few complaints.

oknever got spoon for hot tea... had to get it to go so slow. melted shake cold fries and raw chicen strip and over charged. i have never wrote a review b4 but $41.00 and got nothing to et to show for it. hope my friends meal is eatable cause mine was not. and still left $10.00 tip

IHOP has some decent food at a reasonable price. However, the lack of professionalism, when there are only few diners, is lacking. I didn't care to hear the yelling and bantering from the kitchen and just wanted to enjoy my meal. Chicken Florentine is a great light meal.
We waited almost an hour for food. No one ever came out to apologize or update us. Their was only one other booth of people. At almost an hour they came out. We only ordered the basics of pancakes , cheese omelette and eggs. The pancakes were thin and card like cardboard, overcooked. The egg omelette was a mess, brown, overcooked. The sausage links were hard, leathery, overcooked. We walked out.

Would like to let everyone know how exceptional Emily is. My son recently graduated and left behind part of his uniform at IHOP. She took the time to personally ship it to our home miles and miles away. I appreciate her so much and hope higher management values her, with a promotion. She was not our waitress but still cared. We need more Emilys in this challenging world.
