This is the hidden Gem of Beaufort SC. The food is fresh and delicious with portions exceeding ones expectations. If fast delivery to your table is your expectation this is not your place. If delicious fresh seafood is, just sit and enjoy. I sure wish you would move to Frogmore SC!

Some of the best chickens livers and fried shrimp I have ever had.... The garlic and pepper wings were good as was the cabbage side.

This is real soul food, big quantities, price is just right, we always get the grilled seafood platter and those seafood cakes are delicious!

My wife and I didn't want the commercial restaurants in an effort to try something different. We read the reviews here, the website indicated they had scallops where others didn't, and we decided to give it a go. We expected a sit down and dine atmosphere but taking a place at a picnic-type table inside, we were given takeaway plates although ordering the large seafood platter and a side. And no scallops, which were replaced by whichever we chose of another entry. The entries were extremely hot, which we have no problem with. Nothing like fresh cooked. Red rice, good; okra, nuclear hot but awesome; shrimp to die for; whiting, good; oysters, good then turned saltier as you went along. Wait staff could teach others. Overall, I might get a shrimp basket takeaway.

This place has amazing food. Absolutely love eating here. They do have outdoor and indoor seating, and restroom. I just can't wait for the day they start making dessert again.

Ordered once I got to the restaurant. 20 minute wait time and worth every minute! ????

Great country cooking and seafood. I had fried pork chop, mashed potatoes and gravy, and lime beans...delicious. My daughters had shrimp 'n grits and fried shrimp, also delicious. They were fresh and jumbo

I usually don’t do reviews but I spent $20 on some of the worst food ever. Shrimp burger was cold like literally cold cold and shrimp were so salty I couldn’t even eat it. Along with the sauce they put on the burger; it was dripping in it and nasty. I literally got 8 fries as a side, not kidding, and the mac n cheese was horrible. It tasted sour and extremely peppery. Super disappointed

is a great little cafe serving some of the most nicely balanced fried seafood around. Jason is at the cash register, batter under his finger nails, and he knows his fryer! We had perfectly cooked shrimp, truly outstanding fish cakes, fried okra, and hush puppies all golden brown and perfect. We also enjoyed the lima beans and the cole slaw. We stuffed ourselves for two for about $35. Not much ambiance -- little has been done to dress up a space in a half-constructed strip mall -- but who cares!

Stopped in for a quick lunch while touring the area. We had fried oysters, shrimp and wings and it was all delicious. Wings were mice and moist. We also saw his kindness with his customers, which goes nicely with the love in his food. Stop in.

I just got the worst food from Jason's. The Cole slaw was warm and so bland. It had a tiny bit of mayo, no vinegar, no seasoning. Yuck. The fries and fish taste like they were fried in old oil. As if that wasn't bad enough, I didn't get the tartar sauce I asked for. I like to patronize local businesses, especially minority owned, but I won't get food from here again.

Delicious! My second time here. Yummy affordable local seafood. Jason is an expert in the kitchen. Clean restaurant and friendly staff. Will definitely eat here again and again.

Wow!! The food is unbelievable! The taste is just like mama used to make! Hd always treats us with love and appreciation. He is quite a cook. Thank you Jason for your service to the community. You are the hot spot in that spot! For real!!
