We were in the area for a house-hunting trip and decided to patronize your establishment. Unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable, ironically turning a house-hunt into a chase for achievable satisfaction from our restaurant visit.It all started with the backdrop of your staff's non-attention and speed strikingly slower than molasses - a disconcerting scene on its own. The unenthusiastic energy surrounding their interaction with us also left a lot to be desired.Next, the adventure of our lukewarm meals. It is somewhat common knowledge that most meals are best served hot, yours came out frigid. Our fries, often considered comfort food, were anything but - cold and unappetizing. I will admit, there are few things worse than expecting hot, indulgent fries and being served ones that are chilled.Compounding these issues was the irksome situation concerning our drinks. We flagged down waitstaff for drink refills numerous times, but the refills never found their way to our table. Yet, the disappointing parade of incidents seemed like a poor performance that intended to push diners away rather than entice them.In conclusion, we initially looked forward to adding Luther’s to our list of favorite local eateries. Instead, this experience has become our first and last visit. Now, all we are left with is a lesson on how not to run a restaurant that claims to be a favorite in the area.The old saying "You live and learn" is more profound now than ever.

food is great, atmosphere is subtle, nice little hang out spot during the week and has great live music at night. been here numerous times and am always treated like family. The owners are so sweet. also they have a cat that hangs out there named Chester and he's so friendly, sweet and seems so happy to have so many people give him so much love. 6/5 stars!

Cool pub right by the waterfront. The patio has an awesome view of the water. We stopped in for chicken wings, burger & basketball!Mild & garlic peppercorn dry rub wings are good.Classic burger with sour cream & chive fries slaps. The fries are great, I got the burger cooked medium and it was juicy & flavorful

Hi we dined there this afternoon and saw a very poorly taken of cat. It was Taby cat and looked weak and ill. I’ve already called animal control, but before this I picked up the cat in order to take it home or to a vet at bare minimum so I started taking it to my car then an extremely rude staff member/waitress stopped me and told me the cat doesn’t like to be handled. The cat wasn’t giving me any signs of struggle or meowing and seemed content with the idea of getting out of there where it wouldn’t be harassed by clients/dogs all day. The cat had NO collar or any signs showing it was being cared for, that animal is not just a little mascot. I was willing to take care of it or at least get it to a vet but sadly couldn’t. Overall the absolute ignorance and lack of manners the staff member had plays a role in my patience with this kind of animal neglect. I tried rescuing this poor thing but the lady stopped me and tried to make a scene when i immediately put the cat down when she asked. She claimed it was theirs but I believe that cat has not been anyone’s, and if so they don’t know how to take care of an animal for the life of them.

We left because server was so rude…tables we empty outside and there were 6 of us and she refused to serve us because “it was a 4 top”, but we could have sat 3 to a table, ordered and then moved….well…Hemingway’s really enjoyed our money and tips! Bad form Luther’s!!!

When rating places you need to rate them according to service, ambiance, food, and overall experience. This is a dive bar, so it is exactly that and great at being what it is meant to be! It's not where you go to get the absolute best food Beaufort has to offer. But you do get a fun time and at a great price point! The bartender was awesome, sure it took a few to get a drink but the bar was full and really most the place is the bar. It wraps all the way around with tables on the outside. The view is awesome, can't beat right on the water. Great place to watch a game, and fabulous $4 bloody Mary's. I ordered the wings and for $15 for 12 that were pretty large I'd say that's a deal. So it's not the best of the best food wise but for a dive bar it's great! I had the best time watching the Playoffs and seems to be frequented by locals too.
Very casual bar, we went with the fam while staying the night- it wasn't our first choice, but we mostly enjoyed. Def feels like it needs some up keep, but not bad. Everything. Is pretty well priced, and the beer selection is just enough. My dad ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap, and there was barely any chicken in it. Our little one got a plain hotdog and enjoyed it. The burgers were very good, and the shrimp burger was delish! Decent fish and chips as well. Not a bad spot, but definitely not one of the nicer places to eat.
