The food, decor, service, and location are all terrific. There’s great local coffee, cute fresh pastries, and fun mimosas are included on the menu. The location is near the University campus, and looks out onto the beautiful river. Indoor or outdoor, this restaurant is a very pleasant place to be. I believe people of all ages and genders would have a positive experience here. This would be a fine place for family, friends, business, or dates. It’s also a fairly quiet space for those concerned with hearing. The soup of the day was great, the pickles are delicious. There are teas and coffees available Everything was very fresh from the veggies to the breads.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options for both breakfast and lunch were present, and the preparation of these is excellent. Also, the pickled vegetables are really good.Dietary restrictions: There were vegetarian/vegan options, gluten free desserts, and alternative milk included on the menu.

This was my first visit with the new owners. The cafe has had a light remodel in the front of the house. It looks really nice. The driveway was not addressed, but perhaps that's to come. We were seated outside as requested. The server had one table and was getting their drinks. She was a little late addressing our table. I went to the hostess stand to make sure a server was assigned to the patio. When she showed up, she apologized and had water in hand. This was no big deal, but it did cost a point on the service side of the review. The Greek pasta was a little on the short side with ingredients other than noodles. The flavors were great. The turkey wrap was very good. The veggie sandwich bread was very good. The ingredients, however, tho plentiful , were a bit on the bland side. The picked beets were fantastic. We decided against the crab cake sandwich and crab cake salad, which were just too high.On a side note, we were surprised the breakfast meals did not come with the sides. Sides are ordered separately, making the standard close to $20.Otherwise, view and a great review. Well done, guys.

What a beautiful spot for breakfast!i went with my girlfriends this am! First of all the place is super charming and has a picturesque view of the water. Our server was delightful and brought three of the most beautiful lattes I have ever seen! i highly recommend the signature lavender chai latte! magnolia cafe embodies the phrase "food is art"! Please see photos as I can't even describe the attention to detail! Everything was delicious and I could have lingered there all day but word is already out and there was quite a crowd behind us! We will be back for sure as this is a great lunch date place too!

What a gem this place is! As an old patron to the original spot this refresh was much needed and the owners did it perfectly. The ambiance is fun and the decor is beautiful and modern and the food was delish!! I got the bagel with lox and it was as good as I’ve ever had and I used to live in NYC. The service was friendly and attentive and I will certainly be a regular.

SO happy they’re open again! I’ve been twice within the week and about to meet a friend for coffee there in a moment. Best coffee in town by far. The chicken caprese sandwich was the perfect option now that it’s heating up! I can’t wait to work my way down the menu, but ambiance is fresh and so welcoming. Welcome back Magnolia Cafe!

Wow! The smiles and kind greetings when we walked in were just the beginning of a wonderful experience of the reopening of Magnolia! The tuna poke bowl was to die for... even as a takeout dish I ordered to take home for dinner! The chicken salad sandwich with beet and goat cheese was delicious!!! Can't wait to have it again and try the rest of the menu. My friend was very pleased that there was gluten free bread available so she could try the chicken caprese sandwich. I work two blocks over and we are so happy to have a lunch spot so close to take clients, meet friends, and grab coffee/quick lunches. Bravo Magnolia team and welcome to Beaufort!!

I am thrilled that Magnolia has re-opened its doors under new ownership! The breathtaking view, serene and charming atmosphere, and secluded location make it a hidden gem. The food was exceptional. I was very impressed with the variety of gluten-free selections! The staff's expertise and professionalism are something you don’t see much anymore. A visit to Magnolia is highly recommended when you're in Beaufort! You won't be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: They had many gluten free and dairy free options!

Wow! Wow! Wow! I cannot believe what they’ve done with this place. The renovation is so fresh and modern and beautiful, the service was top notch (so friendly & personal) and the food was AMAZING! I had the tuna poke bowl and my husband had the croissant sandwich. Delish! The icing on the top was the dreamy Lowcountry water view. Oh, and bonus… Plenty of parking on site! We cannot wait to go back! Bravo!

Visited twice since they reopened. Ordered at the counter to sit at the bar to work and also had lunch with a friend. Both experiences I was greeted by friendly staff and the food is so, so good! Not too heavy that I need a nap, but so fulfilling.

Magnolia has always been a solid local venue but since the new owners fantastic remodel it’s really raised the bar for dining choices.Beyond the great tasting new food options it also appears to be FULLY staffed which is shocking for this area. I hope they continue to impress others the way they did my husband and I.
