Being visitors from the mid-west, one of our favorite experiences is the seafood in SC. Ocean to Fork is our FAVORITE seafood shop. We love the fish, shrimp, oysters, and crab.

When my family and I were visiting Fripp Island, we stopped at Ocean to Fork seafood shop near Beaufort and bought several items, including red snapper and shrimp. They were very helpful with our choices and gave us wonderful instructions on how to prepare the seafood. The shop was immaculate, and they were so friendly. Everything we prepared was fresh and delicious. We had some leftovers and my son-in-law ate those the next day and said they tasted just as good as when I cooked them the first day. Recently, I was wanting to fix some fish at home and purchased some red snapper from a local seafood shop here in East Tennessee. I was having A special meal for some dear friends. I contacted Ocean to Fork, and Keith was very helpful and giving me a refresher on how to prepare the red snapper as I had before. The meal was a huge hit and I know when I'm in the Beaufort area again, I will definitely be purchasing seafood from Ocean to Fork.

I had the pleasure of visiting Ocean to Fork (third time now), and I must say, it's become one of my favorite seafood markets.The oysters were incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. Each one was a delightful taste of the ocean, and I couldn't get enough of them.What further enhances the experience is how impeccably clean the store is. Everything is well-organized, spotless, and it truly adds to the overall ambiance.The man & woman behind the counter are not only knowledgeable about their offerings but also genuinely kind and eager to assist. They made my shopping experience even more enjoyable by providing recommendations and ensuring that I had everything I needed.I can't wait to return and explore more of their seafood treasures!!

Some of the freshest sea food and best spices/sauces/pre-made mixes - we got their crab cakes and I was blown away by how much actual, quality crab meat they stuffed into the recipe! My husband usually hates cocktail sauce, but he really loved the hot cocktail sauce. We also got oysters and the owners were kind enough to explain the difference and show us how to open them. Seafood can be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and the seafood here is incredible - would absolutely recommend for both local and general seafood.
