I called in for pick up. Service was great but weird that when I was paying for the food, the tip was pre-selected for 20%. Not dinning in but pick up. I have the Piace pizza which is the restaurant favorite, the middle of the pizza was very wet which makes the pizza fall apart. It has potential as the crust was really good but the middle was gross. I hope this was an off night.

I would GLADLY give this place 5 stars for the food alone. The pizza is amazing. The jalapeño poppers? Incredible. Fried pickles, garlic cheese bread, and don’t even get me started on the RANCH — all top-tier. Some of the best food in Beaufort.
BUT DO NOT DINE IN. GET IT TO-GO.
Because the servers are absolutely awful, and they have been for YEARS.
1. Why am I being given an attitude for asking for extra ranch? Seriously — why?? I KNOW it costs extra. I’ve been here nearly 50 times since moving here. Charge me and bring it, but don’t make me feel like a burden for asking for something I’m PAYING FOR.
2. Drinks? Forget it. They don’t ask if you want another one. They just disappear. Meanwhile, they somehow find plenty of time to be rude or nitpicky instead of doing their actual job.
3. Pizza orders were the final straw, this time. If someone orders multiple pizzas with different toppings, they may want separate boxes — and that should NOT be questioned.
- Maybe they’re going to different homes.
- Maybe they don’t want bell pepper flavor contaminating everything else.
- Maybe someone doesn’t eat meat and doesn’t want their veggie pizza touching it.
None of that is up for debate. You’re a server. Separate boxes should not be an argument — ESPECIALLY when pizzas ordered to-go automatically come with their OWN boxes anyway. After I had to ARGUE just to get separate boxes, they quietly charged me an extra $1 without even mentioning it. Completely unacceptable.

These servers are NOT new. They’ve been there for years, and the attitude has been consistent every single visit. It’s honestly sad because this is my FAVORITE place in Beaufort for pizza and poppers, but it also has the ABSOLUTE WORST service. Incredibly rude, dismissive, and entitled — all while expecting a tip. And to top it off, this happened on my husband’s BIRTHDAY.

Note to management:
If you ever get new servers, PLEASE announce it. And if you can’t because they’re family or something — then rein them in. You are absolutely losing customers because of them.

Food = AMAZING.
Servers = deal-breaker.

Visiting South Carolina from Nebraska, I thought to take my family to a local pizza. Once we walked into this local pizza joint, before reading reviews, we were graciously greeted by the rudest waitress ever. It was like we were coming in to rob the place, not to feed a family of six. As we stood there, confused as to what just happened, for another five minutes, we took in the sight of said waitress continually ignoring us. We did an about-face and left. If you want to have the worst experience ever, this is your place. I wouldn’t go back if they offered me a new car to eat their food.

If you enjoy being yelled at by an extremely rude waitress as soon as you walk in the door - this is the place! We took our business elsewhere, there are too many restaurants to put up with this kind of service.

Absolutely the worst place for food. Waited over 1 hour for an order that was phoned in. We paid the bill and waited. After 1 hour and 15 minutes, we were told they lost our order. STAY AWAY FROM TGIS PLACE

As Close to authentic Philly quality you can get in Beaufort. Chicken cheesesteak was very good and have had pizza in the past.

I was born in Philly & lived in South Jersey before moving to Midwest & now SC. It’s so hard to find an authentic Philly Cheesesteak. Well I’m in heaven now. I found the perfect Philly cheesesteak at @Piace Pizza. It was delicious all the way down to the hoagie roll. I’ll definitely be back! My husband said his pizza was delicious as well especially the crust. Our waitress, Cindy was awesome and atmosphere was great too. I’m sad it took me so long to try this place. But we are definitely returning. Thank you!!!!

Warning. Actual prices for pickup have skyrocketed well beyond menu prices, plus window staffers are slapping a 20% tip on the total without giving you a chance to add your own amount on the credit card reader. Check before you pay people.

Pizza and bacon cheese fries were delicious but the wings were cold and frozen in the middle which kind of ruined my appetite. I’m sure they were precooked and just needed warmed up so I wasn’t eating raw chicken (at least I hope) but it was pretty discouraging biting into a wing and it literally still being frozen.
The fries were delicious and the portion size was huge. The pepperoni pizza was very flavorful as well.

The pizza is incredible. The best I've had in town! And Cindy, the server, is kind.

However, I always dread going because the service (other than Cindy) is so bad. I'm not talking inattentive bad. I'm talking about snapping-at-the-customers bad. I am always willing to give the benefit of doubt to someone having a bad day, going through something, etc., but this has been our experience over a year's time. There's just no reason to be unkind or even downright nasty to customers.

Also, they would rather a table for 6 be empty than sit 4 people at it. We've had that issue several times as well.

At any rate, I don't think I am going back, and I really hate to say that because I do like Cindy (but she doesn't work every day) and I do absolutely love the pizza.
