This place had amazing shrimp and grits with huge portions, I couldn’t finish it all. We also tried the shrimp burger as well as the gumbo and it did not disappoint. I asked a local seafood dealer about who served local shrimp around Beaufort and Plums was on their list. Such a good spot! Highly recommend.

We ate outdoors and enjoyed our meals. I chose the low country gumbo and the tomato pie special. Both choices were delicious and flavorful. Our server was attentive and efficient. Plums is a great choice for lunch in Beaufort.

Loved the gumbo and the back porch. Added to a wonderful day for us visiting from Charleston

Nice atmosphere if you eat outside.

Service is not good no matter what time of day or the number in your party.

I've gone with different people, and we've always tried different menu items. The fried items seem to be breaded and prepped poorly as they fall apart easily. Salads come with limp greens and questionable veggies.

The bartender is good. Mixed drinks are fun, but expensive for this place, given the service.

If you are downtown, keep walking.

Good food, good drinks. But, not enough staff. Waited 10 minutes to be seated, 15 minutes to get a waitress, and 30 minutes for food. Semi friendly waitress. Can be seated on back porch, inside or at bar area. Pay Parking on street. Other restaurants in proximity. Plums is open for Lunch only.

Very positive experience. We ate on the outside porch on Friday evening. It was a beautiful nighttime view of the water & park, yet we stayed warm because of the overhead heat lamps. I had the fried pork wontons & my husband had the shrimp burger. Both were excellent. Our server suggested dessert - the fried cheesecake strawberry doughnut. It was so DELICIOUS!!!!!!!

If you are in Beaufort around dinner time, don't miss Plums. The less fancy sister restaurant to Saltus River Grill, but we imagine just as tasty. Don't miss the classic shrimp and grits which is the one of our favorite dishes in the South - and this was pne of the best we've ever tried. The shrimp burger also was amazing as was the massive Greek salad which easily could be shared.
The waitstaff was friendly as family, in particular our burgeoning private pilot, Chris.

Very friendly bartender. Stopped in for some snacks at the fried wontons with bacon jam, and the shrimp gumbo both were delicious.
