Walked in and was sat down. 15-20 minutes went by and no one asked if we wanted drinks or took our order. Finally getting the food after having to ask staff to take our order. Food was bland and disappointing, not good southern BBQ. And before you ask, they weren’t that busy to have justified the wait.

Enjoyed all of our entrees. I enjoyed the half rack of ribs. Beans needed more zip to them.

Waited 20 minutes for a waitress to come even get our drink order. Got tired of waiting and got up to leave. Told someone on the way out and all they said was sorry.

We will be back! Late lunch with hubby. The inside is dark but comfortable. Eating outside offers a nice view but even in a warm spring day it's hot out there. Heat seems to radiate from the canopy.Service was fast and friendly. Hubby had the brisket tacos. Delicious. He could have eaten more. Fries on the side were good. I had the pulled pork on a bun. Pork was tender and moist. Sauce came on the side so you could add as much as as little as you wanted. Not too spicy but has a nice heat to it. Fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside. Hubby also has the Peach cobbler. Fantastic! He wanted another. Overall a great place we would stop again. Almost forgot we had egg roll appy. Not the best way to start. Somewhat mushie and bland. Wrapper was good though.Parking: We parked down the road in paid public parking. Hard to find street parking.

Had lunch there today. Brought daughter and grandkids. We all enjoyed our lunch, very tasty. Service was great too. Not our first visit there and we will definitely be back.

Sat at the bar later than normal for a bite to eat. We enjoy chatting with some of the younger locals and discussed football as we all watched the gameday reviews from the bar. The younger gentleman next to me packed away some food. Good Times!

My husband and I went to dinner tonight and it was awful. The brisket was nothing like brisket more like a strip of bacon with a strip of fat. The barbecue wasn’t good either and the fries were not fresh. Will not go back

To be honest we did come in at 9 an hour before close, so maybe that’s why our experience wasn’t great, but our food really sucked. They were out of baked potatoes, my food came out not even warm just room temp, baked beans tasted old, Mac and cheese was cold and gross. Meats were okay flavor wise but again, were cold. I could tell our waitress was ready to leave so we didn’t even bother complaining to her. I don’t think I will be back to this establishment for a very long time. Sucks because the first time I ate here I thought it was really good. For $20 for the barnyard and it to be cold on top of us ordering multiple alcoholic beverages, it just wasn’t worth it. Go somewhere else if you’re downtown lol

Party of 7 visited on 3/30/24, ordered apps, entrees, cocktails, kids entrees and salads.Burnet Ends appetizer- very fatty, the brisket needed trimmed much more before this was prepped.Fried Mozz- good but the 3 large chunks of cheese make it hard to share.Kids’ meals were generously portioned and kids enjoyed them.Cocktails-Margaritas were good, Signature Berry Margarita was prepare incorrectly. When we inquired about having it remade as the salt rim was supposed to be a sugar rim, ‘manager on duty’ told us that we had not informed them quickly enough, and that we would have to pay for it. When questioned as to what would be done with the drink that was made incorrectly, Manager confirmed it would be thrown out because they couldn’t serve it to another guest. Which left us wondering why they would not just remake the drink, it was a server error where it was rung incorrectly and given a salt rim when it was ordered with a sugar rim. Server was nice and paid for it herself which was not necessary.Barnyard Platter-meat was good, the side of grits were far too thick.Fish tacos-served with lettuce, tomato and sour cream. No limes or lemons were served with it. Weird set-up, would not order again.Q Ban (their version of a Cuban sandwich)Did not give me any idea of a Cuban, the portion of pork was chinsy, the slaw on the sandwich was good but the sandwich overall was disappointing.Pulled Pork platter-meat was good, green beans were bland, macaroni and cheese was also bland and dry without cheese flavor.I’ve been in the food and beverage industry for 20 years, I’ve worked front of house and back of house, and own my own catering business as well.My professional and consumer opinion is that this restaurant needs an overhaul of staffing and menu, it’s like a dungeon inside, most of the servers seem lost and unsure of the sequence of service. For a tourist-y spot that also sees a lot of local traffic, you’d think the customer service would be better. Would not visit again.Kid-friendliness: Good Kids menu with generous portions.

This was my first time here, and I loved it…all of it. One of the best barbecue sandwiches that I’ve ever had, and their fries were delicious.Kid-friendliness: They brought my granddaughter her own little barbecue platter.

The Q came highly recommended by locals as I am merely a visitor. I unfortunately did not dine here, but the barbecue looked phenomenal. Would rate the Q a must try on a return visit.
