No complaints about the food and service. The noise level was so high it was difficult to have a conversation with our friends sitting across from us in the very large booth. A table for 4 would have made for a more pleasant evening.

Without any doubt Roadhouse Ribs has the best food and overall value of any restaurant in Beaufort County SC. Truely a Local Treasure!

The steaks were tough and salty. The ribs were dry and lacked taste. We had both the large ribs and the baby ribs. The sausage was good. The boiled eggs had hardened. The mashed potatoes were great. The peach crisp was great. The outside looks like porky's but the inside was wonderful. The beer was good. The wine was good. I heard no complaints. But the sweet tea was unpleasant without ice. There just was not enough ice. The water was good. You felt like you could trust it. We tipped out at 20% but it wasn't because the of the food. Ribs are supposed to juicy and savory not dry and tasteless. They tasted like Somebody over smoked them. I remembered that because we took weeks to do a tour of ribs in major cities. I might go back in a year to see if things change. I'm not doing anyone and favors by saying that but in think everyone deserves a second chance.

My wife and I went for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. The service was excellent and our waiter was very wonderful and patient with us. The ambiance was great and welcoming. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning.

This was our first time dining at this establishment. There was no southern hospitality whatsoever. The male host never said a word to us as we entered and were seated. He gave us the impression that he didn't care if we were there or not. The ribs had no smoked flavor or seasoning - was like eating pork chops. There was no wonderful scent of smoke when we approached the establishment and found that puzzling. The server was friendly, but slow in refilling beverages and bringing check. Stood and talked to the make host for a great deal of the time. We will not be returning and do not recommend this to anyone.

Best bbq place in SC! We go here at least twice when we come to beach for a week every year! :) love it! Best spare ribs ever!! Best ambience also!

I had a reservation for two. I arrived and there were multiple booths that were open, I asked to sit in one of those, and the host would not allow me to sit there stating they were for six people only. He proceeded to set me in the corner at a small two person table where I felt squashed in the corner. We watched the tables during the night, not a single one of those booths I requested was filled. I was highly disappointed with this being my first visit there. I had a large group that I was part of, but we were not sitting with them, and I had to sit in the corner across the room.  I'm not sure what the problem was with my request, especially since I was partially paying for the large group bill. I felt the way the host handled this was extremely rude

This is THE PLACE for excellent food, service and quality. We enjoyed the pulled pork platter which comes with your choice of two sides, also the fried pork chop special was huge and soooo delicious. Very nice wine/beer selection as well! You will be pleased with this choice !

Food was great even though they were out of my fav burnt ends appetizer!! Wished they paved the parking lot as it's been raining and lot was muddy.
What is keeping me from a 5 star is really only the cocktails. They were good and they were cold, but there were no garnishes. They seemed a bit canned, though I think they were not.

If you order the shrimp and grits you will only get maybe 1/4 cup of grits. My wife got maybe 2 spoon fulls. The rest was just sauce and 5 shrimp. The prime rib was also a very tiny portion. This visit was VERY disappointing.

We made reservations for our anniversary dinner. Although the waitress was superb, the quality of our dinner was subpar. I ordered a prime rib which was raw. My fork could not penetrate the meat. A prime rib should be cooked to be buttery fork tender. I was also told that it was the last prime rib. Our reservation was for 7:15 pm. There hours are 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm . My husband ordered a medium well ribeye. It lacked marbling and we were told that the fat was intentionally trimmed off. It was cooked to well done. The waitress had the steak reordered and the second one was cooked to well done, too! We were left with one steak dinner to eat. I took the first steak in place of the prime rib. My husband did not get a meal. The manager just took the second steak away and did not offer anything else on the menu. We went home and my husband ate at home. Worst experience ever!

We have been here many times... I guess we never had a 5:00 reservation... the door is locked... people were sitting in their cars waiting for exactly 5:00... not 4:55...not 4:59... 5:00! since we did not know “the 5:00 rule” we walked up to the locked door but sat on the outside chairs until the door was unlocked... the manager did not hold the door open and welcome all 10 of us in...we just heard the click of the lock opening We were first in line...seated immediately Our server Brett was there only 2 weeks and he was the only server for 5 tabes all seated at one time. This did not bother Brett... he handled all tables... friendly and checking in... he was fabulous! We both had the baby back ribs... my sides were the loaded potato salad and green beans... my ribs(which I have had before) were not as moist and tender as I remember, potato salad was great, green beans were good but not as warm as I like them... My hubby had the French fries and baked beans... both good It was my bday and I would have liked a little something sweet but I guess they don't offer dessert for special occasions... lucky I had cake and ice cream waiting at my house. I would go back because the food is good... I would just like a little personality from the manager or owner...whoever the check in guy is... it doesn't hurt to smile or engage with the customers...
