We enjoy eating at Saltus. This visit, we ordered a Delmonico steak. It was prepared well, cooked perfectly but delivered luke-warm / room temperature. We did not want to send it back because we did not want to wait any longer, as it took about 45 minutes for the steak the first time. I do not know what happened except that maybe the steak sat somewhere for a long time before ultimately being brought to our table.

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel manager and boy was she right. Lovely location and view of the water. Our waiter was excellent and the food delicious. My husband had the roasted chicken which he said was the best he'd ever had - infused throughout with her flavor and a crispy skin. My crabcake was delicious - and, being a Maryland girl, I'm pretty particular about crabcakes.

We had a lovely dinner at Saltus River Grill. The food was delicious and perfectly presented. Our server Regan was professional, friendly, and ensured all was well with our meals...she really was a top-notch professional! We will definitely visit Saltus River Grill again!

Nice to be able to make a reservation. Service was outstanding from start to finish. Melvin our server was very pleasant and helpful. Our appetizer and meals all had great flavors and the portion sizes were sufficient. Last but not least they have a huge wine selection.

We were disappointed that there were not several fresh-catch of the day offerings. This would be anticipated, given the location of Saltus. The crab cake appetizer and scallops entree were each delicious. The She Crab Bisque was a bit thick for a bisque, but the taste was on-point. The Blackened Dorado was good, very nice whole grain mustard beurre blanc. Our server was excellent! I was a pleasant evening.
Reagan Was Fantastic! Reagan was great — super friendly and warm from the start. She kept us happy throughout the meal and even sold us on some amazing strawberry shortcake. Great service and great vibes all around!

Great server! However, we were celebrating an anniversary and were greeted with a toast of champagne and were charged $12 for something we did not order. We simply thought it was a nice gesture. Come on Saltus, you are better than this! In addition, my filet was supposed to be medium well and was very well done.

It was loud inside but dining on the patio overlooking the bay worked well. The blackened Dorado was very, very good. Beet salad and tuna sashimi are also recommended. Server was stretched thin which explains the 3* for service. He was friendly and his recommendations were spot on.

Have eaten here many times and generally a 5 star experience. Very disappointed in this last visit. Service was friendly but not very attentive. While the restaurant wasn't crowded, it took over 30 minutes to get my food after ordering. Rack of lamb dinner was warm, not hot and lamb was very fatty. The location is wonderful with a water view and hostess very accommodating for my early arrival. I'm sure I'll dine here again but I certainly won't order the lamb!
