We were so excited about this place but when we actually went to eat we were so disappointed. The staff are great! The strawberry milkshake was great. The food was not good and so bland. Even with the sauces and salt nothing tasted good. It was overcooked and you can tell they were trying to cater to the "fexican" (fake Mexican food) crowd because nothing tasted like it was supposed to.
I’m from San Diego so I’m very particular about my Mexican food, and the food here definitely reminds me of home. I get 5 rolled tacos (I think they call them durados here) with guac on the side every time. So insanely good.
Delicious tacos! Had asada, carnitas, and pastor. Red salsa was very good on all the meat, can’t wait to try the salsa verde next time. Restaurant was very clean inside, plenty of seats. Did not wait long at all for the food. I’m local on Lady’s Island so I’ll be dining again soon, Thanks!
