Waffle House #1187 is hands-down the best Waffle House I’ve ever visited. Our waitress, Lesa, was absolutely fantastic—so friendly, warm, and welcoming. My husband couldn’t stop talking about how Carl made some of the best grits he’s ever had. The rest of the team, including Gabby and Ashley, were just as friendly and made the whole experience feel like breakfast with family. We’ll definitely be back!

visited this location in Beaufort, South Carolina, on the morning of October 12, 2025. My husband waited patiently in a long line to order one sandwich. When it was finally his turn to be served, the cashier — a pregnant, dark-skinned woman — said she was not serving anyone else at that time. However, immediately afterward, she called out politely to the white gentleman who was behind my husband and offered to take his order. October 12 around 10:15 am
This was very upsetting to witness, and even the customer behind us seemed uncomfortable. It gave the impression of unfair or discriminatory treatment, which should never happen in a workplace. We are new to the area and have visited only once before with no issues, but this experience left us feeling unwelcome. I hope management looks into this and ensures that all customers are treated equally and respectfully. I don’t even leave Reviews BUT Right is Right and Wrong is Wrong.

The food was amazing, hot, and quick. Ray Ray was an amazing sever and overall all of the employees seemed really nice. They washed their hands and changed gloves. Very clean. 10/10 would recommend. Only reason not 5 starts is because the cook cracked eggs and i wasn’t sure if he got egg on his glove but, that’s just something I was thinking about not for sure.
