Excellent food, excellent presentation and our server Lilly was very attentive, professional friendly and did an amazing job carrying the BEST kettle One dirty martini filled to the brim from the bar to our table without spilling a drop - That is skill!

We had to wait a few minutes before being greeted at the hostess stand. We were seated at a nice table. We ordered drinks which came promptly. I ordered an appetizer and an entrée and they both came out at the same time. The soup was not hot.My husband‘s fish was cold. Interesting that there was no bread serve for the table.

Great area, amazing food, adorable interior! Wren has all of the charm that one would expect from a small coastal town. I love that it was centered in the middle of town with great walkability to shops and art studios.

Lovely lunch with friends... meal serviced quickly and correctly! All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our food 3 chicken salad and one Greek Salad with chicken ! Our waitress was wonderful!

I would love to say I tried the food but the moment we walked in the door I felt unwelcome. At 2:48 my husband and I were told they closed at 3:00. The hand written sign at the door said 3:ish. I understand that the kitchen may be in the process of prepping for dinner but it doesn't take any longer to be polite to people. I live here and I can promise you one thing, I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I think it's horrible to have this kind of company representing Beaufort hospitality. Your money will always be well spent just across the street at Low Country Produce and city Cafe. It seems they also closed at 3:00 but not only did they welcome us, it was friendly and they encouraged us to order anything we wanted. Two sweet teas and a few salads nothing special was all we asked for.

Wren NEVER disappoints! My husband and I always enjoy seats at the bar for lunch and dinner! Ben and Audrey always make us feel at home and the food is always fresh, delicious and on point! The only drawback is that they are not open every day of the week! Fantastic Bistro!!!

Great lunch and dinner menu. And great cocktails. Atmosphere can be kind of loud when it's busy, but expected of a large open restaurant. I've dined there several times and have always had great meals

Our first visit was a mixed experience, but we leaned into the positives to give this rating:-Hostess seemed a bit overwhelmed during rush hour, during down season. She was kind and accommodating but hopefully she can get some help with the onslaught of retirees trying to get tables.-Wine list is short but affordable and great options for the value (Many California wines but a few others and we found one from NZ we like)-The shrimp appetizer was great! They were out of the seafood/she crab soup which was a bummer.-They only made “9” servings of meatloaf for the day so that wasn’t an option, our second option was also sold out by 7:30-The mahi mahi main plate came out room temperature. Great flavors, but muted due to it being essentially cold. I should have said something.-Our waiter forgot to give us silverware, so we had to flag down the busy host while our appetizer sat.-Salmon main plate with risotto was very good, but WAY too much butter. It was floating in it. The table next to us had the same dish after us and it looked completely different with much less risotto, but the women said hers had too much butter (we didn’t bait this comment either).-The coconut cake was awesome - very moist. Huge serving but we somehow managed to eat it all.-Our waiter was friendly and polite, the service overall was solid. We’ll likely return since we’re in the area often but I wouldn’t let the cold main course slide again, especially since so many alternatives are popping up in the area.

Food has always been great. However we've been trying for a couple of days to reach them by phone to add one to a reservation. No one answers and voicemail says nothing about it being Wren and the mailbox is always full. Frustrating.

This was our second visit to Wren and it was every bit as great as we remembered. Everything from the pimento cheese appetizer (with veggies instead of toast points for the gluten free members of our party) to the Sam's pasta/flounder/GF pecan crusted chicken was exceptional. But the coconut cake and flourless chocolate cake ended the meal on the perfect note. A fantastic evening all around. We'll be back.

Food is good, not great. Service was wonderful, our server Lily was friendly and cheerful. The biggest issue was the hostess had the personality of a brick, and really gave off the vibe she was pissed off at the world. When that is you first experience at a restaurant, you just pray things go up from there.

I got the Snapper and it was incredible (my other favorite on the menu is the Southern Salad with a protein). My boyfriend got the Pecan Chicken and he enjoyed his as well. We sat at the bar and had lovely service, great cocktails, and enjoyed a very cozy atmosphere. This is definitely one of my favorite spots in Beaufort.

We sat at a high top table in the bar. We were well attended to. Our server was friendly, fun and very helpful. I am gluten free and dairy free and she was very willing to help me choose and then substitute so that my meal was appropriate. It was hot and delicious. My husband enjoyed his meal as did our friends.
