I just had a two-tier small wedding cake made by this company. We met Holly’s cakes at a wedding festival, and we also attended one of their tastings. Both of these events seemed very professional and we enjoyed our time.
The problem that I have with this business is that all communication was solely through email, and the staff did not fully read my emails which led to them miss quoting me. I emailed and asked for a cutting cake and then sheet cake, or what they call “kitchen cakes” for the remainder of the guest to be cut and passed out during the wedding.
Obviously, the cutting cake is in more pictures and has more design pieces than a sheet cake. The company asked me several questions about my cutting cake (over 39 emails back and forth) and then forgot that I needed sheet cake to supplement for my guest count. Because of this, I was miss quoted. I was thinking I was getting cake for 100 people when in reality the quote that I received was for only 40 people. Their mistake did not become clear to me until well into our contract. The contract that they use is not easy and clear to read.
Based on my email pictured in this review I asked for enough cake for my wedding party, and believed I was being quoted for such.
In order to secure your date with this company, you have to deposit $200 that goes towards the cake. I deposited with this company before being missed quoted in order to save my date, therefore I was stuck with this company that not only miss quoted me, but was very hard to communicate with over email. The biggest problem for me at the time was I had a certain budget for cake that I thought I was staying within, but truly was not because I had been miss quoted. The company did nothing to help accommodate their mistake and I had to go find supplementary cake elsewhere.
I wish there was some sort of portal that you could log into to see your order, because the methods that they have to secure orders and communicate with brides is not efficient and is very confusing.
I did not want to lose $200 on a deposit so I did receive a two tier cutting cake from them so I did not lose any more of my wedding budget. Because of this communication I had to scramble and find another company to make sheet cakes for me.
In the end, the cake from the other vendor ended up being better as the cake from Holly’s cakes was crumbly and was very difficult to cut and serve. I would be going to Publix and ordering my wedding cake from there if I could go back and do it again.

Holly’s cake provided me with a beautiful, delicious and affordable 2 tier wedding cake! We chose chocolate ganache and raspberry swirl as our flavors and got so many compliments on them. Highly recommend them for any event! I already can’t wait to dig into our anniversary cake!!

We loved working with Holly's Cakes for our wedding. We wanted cupcakes instead of a big wedding cake and were able to chose 7 different flavors- the sweet potato and red velvet were my favorites. We super enjoyed the cake tasting event and felt 100% confident that the cupcakes would be ready on time and would be delicious. We got so many compliments for this bakery from our guests.

They made a special phantom of the opera cake for my sons 21st birthday. It was oh my goodness so beautiful so delicious!Everyone at my sons bday thought it was a beautiful job, when my son saw his favorite song from the phantom on the cake he was smiling from ear to ear.The taste was superb, super moist, light, not too sweet, I can’t say enough, I always relied on Publix n they are good. But you have earned a new client and plenty of referrals. Thank you for baking my sons birthday.

Holly’s Cakes made the most beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding! From the tasting event to the wedding day, they were easy to work with. Everyone loved the wedding cake - there was not a single piece left. They have so many flavors to choose from, but you can’t go wrong with any. Our tiers were classic white, sweet potato (our favorite!), and Irish car bomb.
