It was oh my goodness so beautiful so delicious!Everyone at my sons bday thought it was a beautiful job, when my son saw his favorite song from the phantom on the cake he was smiling from ear to ear.The taste was superb, super moist, light, not too sweet, I can’t say enough, I always relied on Publix n they are good. Holly’s Cakes made the most beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding! From the tasting event to the wedding day, they were easy to work with. Everyone loved the wedding cake - there was not a single piece left. They have so many flavors to choose from, but you can’t go wrong with any. Our tiers were classic white, sweet potato (our favorite!), and Irish car bomb.

We ran across Holly’s Cakes because they were one of the bakeries recommended by our venue, and we were very impressed by their affordability given the price includes cake delivery as well as a separate anniversary cake. Holly’s Cakes hosts monthly cake tastings at various venues and are usually co-organized with a couple of other groups – which is a great way to get a sampling of several venues and vendors in the area. We had the chance to go to two of these events and when we still couldn’t decide, we reached out to Holly’s cakes and they were able to provide us with some additional samples as well! They were very responsive to our questions regarding cake sampling and flavors, although I did notice as our date approached (and wedding season picked up) it was a little slower to get a response – and my mother in law had some trouble getting in contact with them for a rehearsal dinner cake (we ended up getting one through the rehearsal venue, so not a huge problem). Everything with the delivery and set up (including decorating with fresh flowers) was handled seamlessly between our venue, and the cake was so so good. Holly’s had prepared a sample box for us to take back to our hotel room at the end of the night which was such a sweet touch, and had prepared our anniversary cake freezer ready and with lots of instructions on how to thaw! My one minor comment for improvement would be the payment portal for the cake deposit and final payment was very easy to use, however, if you get a stand from them you need to write and mail in a separate check which we had missed until the week of the wedding. The return for the items were a little cumbersome given their hours, and we were very fortunate that the in laws lived in town and were able to go by. Overall still a very wonderful experience with the tastings and deciding our flavors, and absolutely delicious cake!

Holly made my daughters wedding cake and it could not have been better! Her tasting choices were wonderful and the wedding cake was just beautiful. Everyone loved the flavors and presentation. Although we planned for more cake than we needed, not a crumb remained after the wedding. So much for my taking dessert home with me! Fast forward and now my daughter is expecting. Guess who is doing the gender reveal cupcakes? My daughter said no one but Holly! We order lots of extra but I think I will put in a separate order just for me! Thank you, Holly!

They just did my daughters cake 9-3-22 at Lions Gate Manor in Spartanburg SC. The cake was sweet potato and traditional wedding cake with buttercream icing. Best cake ever and absolutely gorgeous. Holly's Cake was so professional and easy to work with. They came and set the cake up and everything. Highly recommend them. Great bakery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
