Coming from Florida, our idea of BBQ is very different than South Carolina. So Stanton's isn't going to fair too well with folks like us. It may be some of the best that Carolina has to offer, but as for my suggestion, don't try opening a branch in Florida.

Visiting the area, didn't expect much from a place in the middle of nowhere. But the parking lot was full, which means the locals eat there - good sign! We both got seafood, which was cooked perfectly, and huge portions. I got two full meals out of it. The staff was really friendly and service was excellent

March 2024...Nice people, NONE of whom I encountered have any business in food service. Lukewarm, pasty food which took FOREVER...zero atmosphere with absolutely NO customer service. Went straight to Godfather's for a pizza. WOW.

This is the absolute worst resteraunt at the most expensive prices. Sat over an hour waiting for them to take our order, bring drinks and food. My shrimp was bland, Fries were raw and cold, BBQ and baked beans were iced cold and the sweet tea was awful! To make it worse we kept having to ask the waitress for refills and she only checked on us once. People who came in after us received hot food within 15 minutes and you could tell they were regulars. I recommend if you're not a local to stay away. To make it worse the price was outrageous!

My husband and I have passed this place in our travels several times so we decided to try it. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our food to come and then the side items were cold, and the food itself lacked flavor. It was jut okay. I ordered onion rings with mine and they were greasy and cold. We plan to give this place a second try at a later date. Not very impressed.

I stopped here with my mom on a Saturday afternoon and it had such a cozy small town feel! The staff was super friendly and the food was excellent! And the best part was it was so affordable! I will definitely visit again the next time I am in the area.
