Excellent service!! I needed a last minute pound cake for a chicken bog/fundraiser for a young man battling cancer on Saturday! Opened at 10 instead of 12 for me to get the cake! What a wonderful experience, the cake and chicken salad were delicious!

Stopped by after leaving one place in Bishopville and happened to notice this bakery. Wife and I ordered a lemon cake slice and a pecan cake slice. Ate those while walking down Main street. Very friendly staff, family owned.

Add Get Down Pound to your To-do list! They are definitely the spot for your specialty bakery needs. I had them to make an old fashion Jelly Cake for my grandfather and we absolutely loved it! It was moist and delicious! There aren't many people (especially bakery's) that make jelly cakes and theirs tasted just like the one's my beloved grandmother used to make. I give them a 10 out of 10. The chicken salad was also a hit and the service was A1! I will definitely take the trip from Savannah again to enjoy more baked goods. It was well worth the trip.

Get Down Pound truly brought my family together as we enjoyed memories of Gandma while enjoying our cake. We came from Savannah Ga to receive this experience.. And the chicken salad was delicious.. Such a beautiful interior to go with the beautiful (and delicious) cakes and desserts. The employees are super nice and patient. I get the chicken salad all the time and always have to grab a slice of one of their many moist and decadent cakes. My fave so far was the Key Lime cake but the blue velvet is a close contender. Y'all stop by this cozy cake shop of you're in the area. Another awesome independent business that Bville needs more of. You love to see it.
