Food was really great, one of the best Waffle Houses I've ever eaten at. Plus the dining area was clean.

Trued to enjoy a peaceful breakfast with a coworker. Waitress was nice. Service good. Asked the waitress to top off my coworker’s coffee because she said it was cold. She poured the dregs of one coffe pot into another half full pot, poured in a mug and put it on the table, stating it gets cold if you leave it sit. No. It wasn’t hot from the get-go. No matter. About half way through the meal we were assaulted by music so loud we had to practically shout to hear one another. We finished our meal quickly. I went to the cashier to pay and told her “ I really enjoyed having to shout across the table because this music is too loud. Went back to the table to gather my things and wait for my coworker. The cashier, two waitresses and the cook were gathered about three feet away from us talking about what I said and giving me the stink eye. One waitress stated loudly, well corporate controls the music. (It wasn’t the music. It was the obnoxiously loud volume.) Maybe she didn’t realize that I could hear her over the music. I told them I’m happy to hear that, I’ll be calling them. Unfortunately they are impossible to reach. The attitude and response of the staff was rude, unprofessional and well ghetto. I’m old enough to be their grandmother. Have eaten there before and had a lovely time with excellent service. Both times the food was perfect. However I will not be going back. And I’m positive they don’t care.

Best waffle house I have seen in the last six months. I was there 3/3/25 around 930. I travel all over the state and my meal and service was impeccable . Not one time did I see any member touch a cell phone, gossip about staff, or sit idly by. Both team members were going the whole time I was there. I'll eat here again anytime!! The eggs were cooked just right and the cook knows how to cook bacon. I wish I could say the same for the last 23 I've been in.

We stopped into Waffle House for the first time in years. We haven't been due to other locations closer to home not being so clean or the staff being entirely to comfortable and laid back rather than attentive to customers or caring for the food prepared. However, we thought we'd try again and the food and service were both fantastic at this location! The restaurant was aged but very clean, no mistakes on the food, good portions and cooked just right, the waiter refilled our drinks and asked if we needed anything, bathrooms clean, trash emptied, soap dispenser even filled and worked, and with only two people working being a younger, male cook and an older, male waiter, they were both fast and very professional. While it's expected that the waiter thank us for coming in, it was nice for the cook to say it as well as our family of 4 headed out. Thank you both again and we'll be back when in the area!

DeDe was our server and she was phenomenal! She was accurate, attentive without hovering, and friendly, as if she actually enjoyed her job 😊and customers. The food was hot, delicious, prepared to perfection, and it arrived very quickly.

Last I knew waffle house is a 24 hour restaurant,3 of us drove 25 mins to go to the waffle house #822 in Bishopville Sc,we walk in to be told there're only doing take out orders,why would you only be doing takeout at 830 at night?there were plenty of workers there and you're an interstate store,I guess people getting off the interstate to eat at waffle house #822 are suppose to order and then eat in their car or people like myself order then eat it cold at home since I've got to drive 25 mins back home,we'll I'll call corporate because I want someone to explain this BS to me ...

First I'm gonna say that I've lived in this area most of my life and this location was once a I'll just say ok (3 star) waffle house tonight I ordered online because you can't even call the restaurant even if you need to speak with someone. I got here about 220am my food had said it was ready at 215. There was group of people all standing outside waiting for food by there new really crappy walk up window. Two people working and a bunch of food on the table inside and all just sitting there the person wouldn't even come to the window to see if the person that order the food was there and there's not even a way to check in to say you arrived I waited till almost 3 o'clock before I got my food that had already been done the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced by the dumbest implemented new service Procedure witch there clearly are none. I taped on the windows trying to get the woman's attention and she pointed her finger as to says wait a minute. And continued to wait another 15 min when I taped on the windows again she hollered with a attitude that clearly she was trying to get the food together and I'm thinking what your gonna wait till all these people's foods ready before you hand any out. Absolutely ridiculous I will never ever eat at this location again nor will my family or anyone I know that might even think to. And definitely going the extra mile to make sure the Corp office aswell as Google and my thousands of review readers don't either . Even if they gave me a gift card I still wouldn't eat here I'd go out of town to another location this place will be out of buisness soon anyway. That's not to mention I also ordered a cheeseburger and since when does waffle house cheese burger not come with lettuce tomatoes and onion mine had nothing but meat and cheese and tasted like rubber Unforgivable service Once a waffle house customer to store #822

We ordered food online and when we go to pick up our food the restaurant is closed you can not go in they cook everyone’s food and then bring it out in batches it seems. Took an hour to get our food and it was cold and the attitude of the employees was AWFUL! They refuse to tell you anything they just yell and tell you they will be with you in a minute and meanwhile you wait another 30 minutes. This system is extremely flawed and I was refused a refund!
Service was horrible and the place was not clean.
