Scottie's Cafe & Grill

I stopped by the BP station to grab some gas. I saw a sign that mentioned ribs being $6.50. The price really sparked my interest. I have to be honest. For the price I figured that it would be the scenario of "you get what you pay for". Let me tell you this!!! That was not the case. Those ribs are top 5 in my 45 years of living!!! I also had to try some of the lemonade as well as the sweets. Both of them were out of this world. The cheesecake was so creamy and flavorful!!! I will definitely be back if I'm in the area!!! I encourage anyone that happens to visit the BP for gas. Do yourself a favor and go next door to grab you a treat!! I assure you that you won't be sorry!!!!

Tonight was our first time there, and the food tasted amazing! I ordered the chicken souvlaki salad, and it was a very large portion. The waitress was very friendly, and attentive. I also took home a slice of the coconut/chocolate cake and wow! It was so good! We will definitely be back!

Fries absolutely disgusting.
Ribs had burnt black stuff on them that could've easy been taken off. There's a difference in home and restaurant presentation.

So disappointed. Anytime I order from Scottie's I always order a large Scottie's because it's full of meat and usually really good. Tonight my pizza had two to three pieces of meat on it's slices with rubbery burnt cheese. It was awful. My teenagers wouldn't even eat it. However, the front desk lady was pleasant as always.

This was our first time dining here. We got takeout orders. That decision was based on reviews that weren't the most favorable concerning service. We ordered mozzarella sticks, a 3 piece flounder dinner, a kids hamburger meal, and a slice of banana pudding cake.

The mozzarella sticks were good. I love the fact that they give you a generous amount of marinara sauce for the sticks. The kids hamburger was met with approval from my son. It is a decent size. I did think it was odd to have to pay for lettuce and pickles though. Never heard of that before. The fries that came with the meals were soggy and didn't seem to be fresh. The flounder filets were very generous in size and were seasoned well. The banana pudding cake is DELICIOUS and a must try. I will be back, but I'll make sure I don't ask for lettuce, pickles, or fries.

The atmosphere is yet to be determined as we didn't dine-in. I'll just give it 3 stars.

As far as service is concerned, the young lady who took my order appeared to be new and was very polite. The short blonde lady that assisted her was a bit abrasive. Not the best 1st impression for sure, but perhaps she was just tired or having an off day; who knows?

Sat down and no one waited on us. Table besides us was a disater. Table was full of mess, floor littered with food. Waitress was talking with customer and did not wait on us or help clean up the mess. She said it was not her table. Customer service comes in different forms. Another customer sat behind us and got service first. We told waitress we were leaving. No one likes to post bad situation.

What a great dining experience! Our server was attentive, the food was delicious although a tad slow to arrive but we weren't in a hurry and enjoyed our time visiting. Loved all the Greek and Italian menu choices. It was the best gyro I've had in a long time! Will be back soon.

Good food, large portions, friendly staff. Slices of cake are huge. The service is hit and miss, but it's hard to find good workers.
