Capri's Italian Restaurant

My family has frequented here for years. We especially love their pizza. We have not been in a while. We went right after opening time on a Monday. It was not terribly busy. We had a party of 9 w only 1 other table in the room w us. It took an hour to get our orders. Every order was pizza except for 2 dishes. (One of those dishes was so bad that they had to ask the waitress for some sort of dressing to help w the flavor) Something was definitely off with the pizza tonight. The crust. The sauce. The ingredients. The inconsistency of the sizes of pizza (one pizza looked like a child’s order bc it was so small compared to others). So much so that we asked if there was a new owner or if something had changed. (We noticed the menus were new and some older favorites were taken off). Our waitress and manager was so very kind and apologetic over our experience. I am hoping that this was just an off night in the kitchen and not the new norm. Our last visit about a month ago was also off food-wise as well. I am hoping they get whatever is going on worked out.

The chicken was battered, pan cooked with no taste, with brown grease running in my plate! To make it worse, the angel hair pasta was absolutely tasteless! It had a total of 10 overcooked piccata on it (so few they were numerable!!) and only oil over it. There was ABSOLUTELY no taste to the pasta.
I made this known to the server who brought out a small dish of “sauce” but still no taste! Finally asked for some lemons to squeeze over my chicken.
I am shocked that the Capri’s we looked forward to eating at for this birthday outing served such poorly prepared food. The price does NOT reflect the quality.
I will not be back. Buyer Beware!!

Always great, and the best food!

First time here, I ended up with the baked spaghetti and what a great choice that was! Full of flavor, came out streaming hot and the cheese was perfect. Next time I'd like to try the fried ravioli!

This is one place that has kept its standard of excellence for many years!

Love this place! We love 20+ minutes away & still choose this restaurant over Olive Garden & other local restaurants.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Wait staff very attentive. Food got 4 because the Steak Pizzoli was tough and had a lot of grissle.

Everything was wonderful. Food came out quickly even while the place was really busy.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants! Not to mention you can't beat the weekday deals!

Capri's is consistently good. You can always count on them for a great meal.

Been here a few times and each time has a bit of a wait but definitely well worth the wait. Food is hot and fresh and the staff are always very polite. The steak piziola comes highly recommend.
